RWS ROTTWEIL Ammunition .30-06 Evolution (11.9G)

No worries, I hate to shoot down an idea like that, but RWS ammo is just not popular with the folks here in Bavaria. Your friend may be fortunate and have a rifle that really likes the EVO bullet, like I said above my Browning A Bolt loved the RWS Gecko ammunition. It is so unpopular that I couldn't even buy replinishment ammo and had to change to the Winchester Ballistic Silver Tip.
Interesting. I find RWS ammo great for quality brass, consistent performance and accuracy. I value it highly...BUT...I never killed anything with it yet. So curious about your statements. One would figure with 11.9g (183gn) bonded bullets, that 30-06 round would be good for almost anything. Certainly anything in Europe.

{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
