Russell or Courteney - Safari Boots...

Ordered a pair of Russell boots at a NRA convention in Houston. They arrived months after the agreed on time and well after the planned hunt. They were nothing like was ordered. They were returned and months later the "corrected" boots were received. The looked like they were $20 boots.

I will never say a good word about Russell.

I only own and wear Courtney boots. Like many of you I have found that they offer no arch support. So I use arch support in mine nothing fancy. The other issue toe room. Courtney boot company are using newly designed lasts that give ample toe room. For the last three years I have used a new model I am not sure of the model name, but they are similar to the Safari except they use a heavy canvas instead of leather in part of the construction. They are cooler, lighter and less expensive. As far as wear goes they are as good as new.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
