Jim DuBell built from factory RSM 416 Rigby, beautiful blonde and black streaked walnut factory stock, I had oversized engraved cross bolts added as well as a 1" black Decelerator pad, everything else is bedded, also added white front sight bead from NECG, the rifle shoots solids to the same place at 25 or 50 yards, rifle feeds and functions perfect with everything from 525gr CEB #13 solids, 570gr Barnes banded flat nosed solids to both 600gr Woodleighs, solids and PP Weldcore soft points.
Mr. DuBell informed me he apprenticed under Cliff LaBounty, he not only worked the feed ramp to feed flat nosed solids, but worked extractor to slip over a loaded round in the chamber if you find yourself in a dire hurry, I don't do that, just push down on the back of the round with the rest of the mag box loaded while pushing bolt forward, slips right under the extractor like it should.
A set of excellent Alaska Arms QD rings are included with the rifle, for a couple hundred bucks more I'll leave the old Leupold fixed 3X scope with the desirable heavy German #4 reticle.
Loaded ammunition, brass, dies with shellholder, file trim die and component bullets, purchaser has first shot at components and scope.
1 set CH4D reloading dies with shellholder
1 count CH4D 505 Gibbs file trim die
36 count 525gr CED #13 solids
96 count 570gr Barnes banded flat nosed solids, I had a friend draw these down in a big press for me from .509" to .505"
24 count 600gr Woodleigh solids
55 count 600gr Woodleigh PP Weldcore softs
24 count Empty brass cases
16 count loaded ammunition 600gr Woodleigh solids
32 count loaded ammunition 600gr Woodleigh PP Weldcore
1 each 525gr CEB and Barnes 570gr solids
All 600gr ammunition clocks around 2200 fps, loaded with H-4831 SC powder
All brass cases and loaded ammo is in Jamison and Norma brass, have noticed no difference in accuracy or velocity between the two brass brands, this rifle just hits where you point it.
$2500 shipped for rifle and rings if your FFL excepts from private shipper, a little more if he doesn't, Alaska and California can be figured on actual cost as well.
Don't need any trades, too much overlap if that's a real thing ; ]
Woodcarver has kindly said he'll post up some pics later today, many thanks Woodcarver.
Thanks for looking.
