@mattdeere1 whats the barrel length ? Looks around 5” but can’t tell. Do you have the original matching Box?
I have a Super Black Hawk in .44mag w/7 1/2” barrel purchased ANIB years ago and also intended to Hunt with it — but have still never fired it. I agree it’s a very safe style handgun to carry for hunting, accurate, well made. If I ever do begin handgun hunting - this would be the gun I use. Good luck with your sale

Your barrel is 4 5/8’s.
Are you the original owner? How many rounds through it?
I typically see the notch’s on the cylinder start to deform after several 100 rounds.
The drag mark is typical of Rugers.
Year of manufacture is about 1983-1984

@Bandera - while this gun is clearly used I’m not sure the ‘turn ring’ on the cylinder is a good indicator - I’ve Never seen any revolver “blued” without a visible ‘turn line’ and even New Unfired revolvers develop one as soon as the hammer is cocked a few times and the cylinder rotates around. I have a mint NIB S&W 29-2 UNfired and it still has a discernible turn line. I guess if you could grab one right off the assembly line and “never cock it” you would have a pristine cylinder.

Not trashing talking your revolver in any way.
Some people see a drag mark and think the timing is off. On a Ruger it is not. A drag mark on a Colt SAA is an indicator of timing issues.
Again not trashing your revolver, sorry if you took it that way.
