You’d need to open the channel a bit, but only a very little (I know as I tried it on a Guide Gun in .416 Ruger, a rifle I once owned). Some fine grit sandpaper wrapped around a wooden dowel would easily do the trick.

As for the action itself, it is a perfect, drop in fit.

I’ve never seen on of these before.

It's the only I've seen that isn't black. Bought it a few years ago, for my Guide Gun. Wound up selling the Guide Gun (to fund a falling block rifle project I am working on) and therefore no longer need the stock.

By the way, I really miss the Guide Gun. She was a damn fine piece and I sometimes wonder whether it was the right decision, to sell. The only consolation is that I can pick up another some day, if I am so inclined.

The only problem I see with putting in on a 416 is the recoil pad is mighty thin on those stocks, and I doubt you could get an aftermarket pad for it. I bet it would do fine on a 300 or 338 though.

The Guide Gun pad is a bit softer and thicker and is a perfect fit (screw hole spacing and all). Other than that, any grind-to-fit pad could be put on and shaped as easily as on any other stock.

That is a great looking stock! I have one of the black ones in a 30-06, and this rifle it's so lite that it kicks like an angry mule. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'll take it please PM me with address to send payment

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
