You just taught me something. Do not own any weapon with a wing safety but now know another thing to think about if I ever do get one or loading for one. Must say I am a Rem 700 lover. 2 position rocker safety on and bolt opens.

Head space may also be a little tight. You could also try a different brand of ammo. Shoulder may be a little forward on the ammo you have.

Asking for help please. I have a Ruger in 270 that cycles fine without ammo but with ammo it is a fight to close the bolt. If it was a DR I would send it to JJ. He no longer does bolt action work. I am asking for a gunsmith someone may know who can smooth this out please. As always your help is so greatly appreciated!!!!

The only two things U can think of is dirty chamber
Or
Minimum chamber and oversize ammo. This occurs more often than people think.
You could try making up a dummy round by full length sizing a case and slowly bumping the shoulder to see if that works.
Worst scenario get rid of the rifle, best scenario clean up the chamber
