Came back at lunch, assuming it would have sold by then, and was surprised to see it had not been snatched up. I figured a nice condition 7x57 No. 1 at an attractive price would be a very quick sale here.

Just wanted to say thanks to @AZDAVE for the newest addition to my gun safe. Rifle was in excellent condition and will be making its first trip with me to Texas for hunting some does and hogs in a few weeks.

Also Dave is certainly an upstanding gentleman and was a pleasure to meet!

Is that 7x57 or 7x57R? Only reason is because I have a Merkel K3 in 7x57R, which presents some challenge in ammo, although reloading makes it a small matter I guess. Just curious.

@MD Driver it is a standard rimless 7x57.

One of the things I like about the #1 is that ruger did a good job getting it to work equally as well with rimmed and rimless rounds.
