Rockin G Ranch blackbuck taken this morning

Congrats Erik, nice buck !

One or two at a time ;)
Or one shot at a time.....
How long will those blackbuck keep their dark colors? (or when do you stop hunting them)

We hunt them year round. They can darken or lighten any time of year and there is typically a mix of dark and light ones. Their coloration is a combination of dominance and age not so much time of year. But that’s not to say you can’t have a really old and really big light colored one. I have one right now that’s huge and was as dark as the one in the pic all last year. Now he’s turned real light. I’m sure he’ll darken back up now that that one is dead.

Craig smoked a monster Texas Dall too this afternoon!

Beautiful ram Erik! Are those rain clouds I see in the pics?
Yes they are. We finally got some much needed rain!!!!

I like how the coors can is hidden behind the buck - he should be ashamed for not drinking lone star or shiner!

Congrats on a great looking buck and some delicious bacon!
Blackbuck aren’t picky drinkers, Coors Light, Lone Star, Shiner, they’ll drink about anything.

They play in their own crap, but I bet they turn their nose up to Wolf Brand!
