You are a better man than me. Not a chance I would accept a broken @10k rifle. I would pay my kids to start tagging every employee working for the company and start posting reviews. The good news is that it does not like it is on a structural part of the gun. Thus a good gunsmith can make that crack disappear for under 1,000. I would fix it prior to shooting it not for safety but for the general aesthetics of the gun. If the mfg responds to the social media campaign ask, new fore cap and I will remove posts. Not everyone comes to AH for gun reviews. Good luck and I hate that customer service as dissapeared in this world.

BTW, I have a Rizzini 470 NE double rifle and have used it on 3 hunts in Africa. Has performed well for me and is very accurate double.

The owners of Fierce must be too busy on their own hunts to worry about their customers. Deducting the trip I’m sure.

I was handling Fierce rifles in a store very recently and they appear to be high quality.
However, I would never buy one now. If they don’t represent Rizzini appropriately, I surely don’t want a Fierce either. It used to be that business owners put in more hours than their employees. Not a long term business I want to buy into.

Sad but true.

I’ve seen this play out with several brands including the likes of VC who seem to be very well respected. Except when it comes to fixing what are obvious warranty issues.

This is also one of the many reasons I will likely never own one.

Another thread claims VC are bust- maybe poor customer service has something to do with it ?

If you don't win with a warranty claim, that crack is an easy fix. Slide and exact knife into the crack and gently open it. Squeeze some wood glue in and blow it in with compressed air. Then tie the crack closed with surgical tubing rubber.

Get a hold of Razzini directly in Italy, don't screw around with Razzini USA. Express your concerns directly to the manufacturer, let them figure out the next step. They should direct you to the proper channels.

He has bought an item not in order as specified by the brochure . And therefore use what one can to find out the source of the state it came to be in .

I would called the factory in Italy , this is higher up than on ground and importer level .

Here is my personal experience with Rizzini double rifles. I had a new Rizzini 500 Nitro Express and the rifle kept doubling even with light practice loads. The forearm would also come off at times under recoil. The rifle had to be sent back to Rizzini USA (Fierce) twice and both times I was told it was "fixed" and that there was "no way the rifle could double."

After the second repair attempt, the rifle doubled yet again so I sent it back a third time. This time, Rizzini USA (Fierce) gave the rifle and a box of Hornady ammo to one of its gunsmiths and said to shoot the entire box to see if it would double. On shots 17 and 18, the rifle doubled and broke the stock at the wrist. After Rizzini USA (Fierce) informed me of what happened, I decided Rizzini could keep the rifle. After doing extensive research, I went with Heym. Under no circumstance would I ever purchase a Rizzini again.

I contacted John and he responded immediately. He said he would send me a new forearm piece, but that it may take a few months. I presume it has to come from Italy. Definitely good news that restores some faith in Rizzini support here in the US.

Just curious as to how they are going to match the forearm with your existing stock. Do you have to mail it in first?

Bohannon, I’ll be very interested in your thoughts about your rifle as you become acquainted with it. I’ve been considering a Rizzini. They seem to be a quality rifle at an attractive price point.

Had the same happen on my Hollis 470. Use this glue and it'll be dry in less than 5 minutes. Let it cure overnight. Super strong glue that dries clear.
