Applying the final coats of stock finish, finishing off screw heads and any final touch ups required. Undoubtedly the most ornate rifle I’ve made to date. Two barrel sets, lots of sculpted engraving and almost 11 feet of gold inlays. Not to mention that incredible wood. It's been a humbling process to build this rifle.

And she shoots!

Goodness gracious man...that is an amazing bit of work!

Form, function, rarity, this rifle has it all.

Congratulations on putting it all together!

bailey,
I would guess that action would be pretty much as strong as a bolt action.
am I correct?
bruce.

I happen to know the recipient of this very fine firearm and do so genuinely hope that you can convince him to keep it much longer than he has ever kept a firearm previously. He is a notorious gun-whore, with exquisite tastes.
Very, very nice work, well done.

Bailey, that rifle is just plain beautiful. In my opinion it certainly rivals the work of most European gunsmiths.

Gorgeous piece of art, and a beautiful banger to boot!

More pics with the .500 NE barrels

No one is going to believe that rifle was "made in America!" What a beautiful piece. Did you do the engraving and gold inlay as well?

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
