LOL. I mean, c’mon, not every decision made while drinking is a poor one. I acquired a darling little Westley Richards 450/400 double and Sterling Davenport 375 while about 3 tequila and sodas in. Actually surprised I ended up with both where I did, and proud I showed restraint on a couple Rigbys hitting the block soon after.

I get it though, and think it’s smarter to avoid such practices…

I just had a gentleman call me to answer my questions about his Sako that I sent him. I apologized and asked if I could call him back. He politely agreed, and I went to check my email and check on what I was inquiring about!.....sigh.

@gearguywb My wife is similar. I showed her a pic of the Ruger No1 in 275 Rigby and told that I had wanted that exact thing since before I could drive. She said, "You need to buy it now before it's gone!"
