Andy Langlois is a good friend of mine. He does really nice work. He designed the Rhodesian sling to work like the Ching Sling but without the need for a third sling stud on your stock.Andy’s leather Rhodesian, it works great as a quick sling for positional shooting.

Lookup the Galco Safari Chin Sling. It's split in middle which makes it rest on the shoulder without slipping and extremely comfortable. Then you can put your hand though the split pull elbow back into the leather strap and have a hasty sling. That little green gun is nice! What is she?I used a Ching Sling for 30 years on a variety of rifles. It is a carry sling and a shooting sling but works best from a supported position. Shooting slings aren’t all that helpful when shooting offhand. Having said that, I’ve had good luck with the Rhodesian sling, even offhand. As mentioned earlier, Andy Langlois makes the finest leather slings, if you’re looking for synthetic, The Wilderness is the source. Langlois slings; top Ching, bottom Rhodesian:
