Yes, his profile is hidden, same phone number. I guess I’ll just assume he scammed me for $100. He should be blocked from this site, then his ip address.

Did the same thing to me. Claimed his daughter was having a bone marrow transplant and that's what was taking him so long to send my items. I should've gone with my instinct. Guys if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. They can block him and his IP but trust me, he'll be back here under a different name within hours or even minutes.

It's interesting he (it?) uses the same phone number in all of these. Would it be possible to have an auto filter that recognizes that number (or any other that's been used in an attempted scam), even in a PM, and flags the post to the Mods?

I really never understood the username and date, such an easy thing to fake. A phone call and a 5 minute conversation on hunting is difficult to fake.
