got my trophies today. Bullseye did an excellent job. The crate was put together very well and very secure. The work was very high quality, and didn't disappoint.

Glad you are happy with your mounts.
Craig will be pleased they made it in good shape.

Good to hear! I've got several shoulder mounts at Bull's Eye right now.

They look super.

They look great. Any chance of getting a profile photo of the Kudu? Were you happy with the freight forwarder they use?

Glad your happy with them Relyt530! Craig is awesome.

Will do. Copper smith Chicago and zingela were great to work with.

They look great. Congratulations.

I have used coppersmith before and they did very well and I was pleased with the crating!

now did the taxidermist supply the pedestals or where did you get them? I like the simplicity of them. doesn't take away from the trophies.

whats that little bushing between the mount and pedestal?

I had them made by bullseye. The bushing is a small braided rope that outlines the back of the mount

would you mind posting a close up of the braided rope and the back of the mounts please?

Will do. Copper smith Chicago and zingela were great to work with.
Thank you for the info. I too will be using Coppersmith (Seattle) and Zingela. Looking forward to more photos.
Cheers,
Mike

Here is a pic of the warthog done by bullseye.

These are some of the pics requested for further detail. One thing is if you harvest a Kudu have the inner horn polished and bleached (really cool). Before the questions come in I should of used the side skin to cover the back but will know next time.

Exactly, you will know next time.

Thanks for sharing your trophies.

They look good even without the side skins. Congrats on your hunt and on getting the trophies home.

Thank you for posting the additional photos. The trophies look great, enjoy!

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
