you dont recall a tall, slender woman with a deep southern drawl coming by to say hello and spend some time with you when you were a young guy do you?

My mum was a tall 6 foot slender woman with an Australian drawl and I was born in the late 50s.
I don't recall any Americans visiting in the 70s.

As somebody who lived in socialism for almost half of its life I can confirm that this wouldn't happen back then.

it was a crazy experience for sure but tito was so good as a dictator ... i always find hilarious the name of tomato at least in my language ... thinking how that country was not a paradise at all ...
