Remington 770 beater rifles

Strangely on this one the trigger is very good. No creep and breaks fairly light. Just guessing but between 3 and 4 lbs.
I was shooting off a bipod not holding the forearm. Eye relief was less than 2 inches. Touched my nose nearly every time.
It went in the trash quickly
Interesting as the 3 I shot had creepy, spongy triggers that were over 5lbs.

We need Walmart in Australia then.

Won’t happen it’s been over 30 years since a K-Mart has sold guns and ammo.

@CBH
Back when I got my first job in a department store in the early 70s it was my job to clean all the rifles on Saturday morning as well as well hardware. If any one came in looking for a rifle or shot gun I had the great pleasure of assisting the customer. I was only a bit over 14 and a half and it was back when the shops shut at lunchtime Saturday and didn't reopen until Monday morning. It was also illegal to shoot on Sunday morning back then as it was supposed to be church time.
Oh how things have changed.

So , what year was that?

$54 for a brand new rifle??? The first thing I did was look to see how many years (or decades) ago this thread was originally posted! That's CRAZY! I would have been doing the same thing as @mdwest !!!

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
