Remington 600 Mohawk. 308 Carbine.

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1087054010 (buy it now price of $1595)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1095169639 (starting bid of $1095)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1082972768 (buy it now price of $1999)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1091474528 (buy it now price $1500)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1097737895 (current bid $900.. Will easily go over $1K when auction is over in 8 days)

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1087753249 (current bid $1195)

This one has been hunted hard and shows a good bit of use.. the bluing isn’t perfect (its an old rifle) and theres a place on the spacer to the recoil pad that I notched a little bit when I was installing it (doesn’t hurt the gun in any way, but is a little unsightly.. Ive just never bothered to “fix” it by installing another recoil pad since it has no impact on the performance of the rifle)…

that said, there is exactly nothing wrong with the gun.. its been a super reliable rifle.. Ive personally used to take more deer and hogs that I can count.. With my handloads it’s a 1MOA gun pretty easily.. with the 2 different factory loads I have fed it (Federal blue box and Barnes Vor-tx) it shot +/- 1-1.25 MOA..

IMO it’s a nearly perfect “blind” gun or “deep woods” carbine.. with the B&C stock it is super lightweight and easy to tote around.. and because it is so compact its very easy to maneuver in a blind or from behind cover, etc.. The only reason I am getting rid of it is I upgraded to a new Christensen Mesa last year and the Remington is now just sitting in the safe collecting dust.. I figure someone else could get some good use out of it, and I’ll just reinvest the money into something else that might see more use at the mdwest house (thinking a titanium .22lr suppressor of some sort)..

I figure with all of the upgrades, and accessories provided, it easily sells on gunjoker for $1100 despite not being the prettiest option available..

The first $750 and “Ill take it” post gets it delivered to the FFL of your choosing..

Vortex Crossfire II in the pic NOT INCLUDED in the sale.. I just threw it on the gun a month or two ago to see what I thought.. it was an accidental buy and I never got around to returning it.. it’s a brand new optic (3-9x50) that’s never been shot, hasn’t been zero’d, etc.. Retails new for $239.. I plan on selling it separately (without the box, paperwork, etc.. I didn’t keep any of that) for $125 (shipped) if anyone wants it.. or will throw it in with the Rem 600 for an additional $100 (although I admit I don’t particularly like it with the 600.. it sits too high on the rings/base.. the 40mm leupold I used to have on the gun was a much better option IMO..

Listed on one other site as well..

too much?

how about we throw in the scope then for the same price?

Or if you don't want the scope, $650 shipped to your FFL..

Not too much. Somebody better snap this up.

With the optic mounted its right at 7.5lbs.. without the optic, base, and rings, I'd guess it a tiny bit less than 6.5lbs...

the rifle is SPF on another forum.. but Im only about 50% certain that deal will go though.. should know in 24 hours if its actually sold or still available..

Do you still have the original stock?

Do you still have the original stock?

I don’t. I traded into the rifle as is with the exception of threading the barrel and putting the thread protector on it.. I hunted the rifle suppressed for the last couple of seasons (super nice shooting enclosed in a blind)…

I still haven’t heard back from the guy that said “I’ll take it”… as soon as I know one hundred % that the rifle is either sold or still available I’ll let everyone know…

A good fair price for a .308 M600. GLWTS.

That said, including auction site links for comparative pricing versus other M600 models isn't really relevant for two reasons. first, you have to factor for caliber. A .308 M600 like yours is chambered for a "commonly available" caliber versus the hard-to-find stuff like 6.5 mm Magnum, .350 Rem Mag etc. (I own three .350RMs: two are M600s, one's a M660).

Second, even assuming all the linked 600s were chambered in 308 Win, are all in original factory configuration? Or have they been modified/"Bubba-ed" to some extent? Not to mention over-all condition: missing iron sights, warped plastic trigger guard, chipped or broken vented rib, etc.?

Apples-to-apples and all that ... again, GLWTS.

The rifle is now officially SPF.. the guy on the other site responded to the PM and payment arrangements are now being made..

thanks!

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
