Regulating express style iron sights on a dangerous game rifle

That is a good idea. I’ve got a simple jig to file the "v" notch, (so simple it looks like a piece of wood with some aluminium stewed to it :A Whistle: )but if you take too much off you are stuffed, a plastic sacrificial piece is a much better option

there is no filing, once the 3D print is dialed in, the steel sight is
CNC machined to exact same v groove.
Below is the toolpath. Machine time is 3 1/2 minutes.

For those that file, the 3D printed sight can be printed to shoot app. 4-8 inches high at 100yds , then file on the plastic 40-80/1000" to dial in, then file on the steel sight to the same depth.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
