Yes it is a DR a 1905 Gibbs 450 NE 28" barrels...
Not quite sure what combo you are referring to, but it shoots pretty much to the same POI with the 75% loads as it does with my full power loads , the 75% loads shoot not as tight of a group but more than acceptable. I have a load that I got from Champlin Arms that chrony's at 1900 fps with a 480 gr Woodleighs that also shoots very well.. My Trail Boss loads which I've shot with 350gr RN, 405 gr cast and various 480 jacketed bullets shoots a few inches low. I shoot these rounds before and after a shooting session, with no recoil these rounds re-establish good shooting technique and carry forward good muscle memory for the next shooting session. With some tweeking and perhaps using the 100 or 200yrd leaf sights they may shoot close enough to POA to POI that they would be a good deer load probably eat right up to the hole.
