Red recoil pad for Ruger No1

Thread resurrect: does anyone have a recommendation for the best - read, least expensive - option to secure a couple of S.W. Silver's orange pads from a U.S. vendor? German vendors are asking $120+ and the Kynoch folks are out of orange and red...

That’s the correct going rate. Did you check with SW Silver in the UK?

Not sure it helps, but I have an excellent condition ruger red pad that could possibly save you a ton of time and money.

Have you called Mark at NECG?

No, I have not. Good idea.

Kynoch sells the SW Silver pads these days. Cost from Kynoch directly is $50~ before shipping and taxes.

Appreciate the offer, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Silver's pad is the way to go

Agreed, that's what I want!

Another vote for the red recoil pad from NECG for a Ruger No 1. Looks so much better and is more comfortable.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
