Recommendations for Caprivi

Waterberg in Namibia has 43+ bulls. I have seen them.
Was face to face with a 46 in Waterberg in '21. Largest by far I've ever seen. He spun out and vanished forever. Ran out of daylight and never found his track again.

Sitatunga in Caprivi are on extreme conservative quotas. Very low chance to get a tag.
For sitatunga, destination is Zambia.

Who has experience with outfitters in the Caprivi strip in Namibia?
A hunting friend and I are looking for a 2:1 hunt next year, some days at a farm of a friend and before or afterwards approx. 7 days in Caprivi looking for crocodile (my friend) and buffalo (myself).

Any recommendations?
The quotas are tight in Caprivi so may have to plan ahead a bit. I've been once and had a good experience but there were lots of villagers there and now paved roads. I would ask many questions about the concession before booking. I would look at ARU and Burchell-Wolf Safaris and compare with others to decide what might work the best.

I hunted the Caprivi with Zana Botes last year in his Bamunu concession. Top notch outfitter and operation as well as a site sponsor.

HH
Ditto Zana.

I’m hunting with Divan safaris in May who hunts much of the caprivi among other areas. He has shown me some great looking buffalo he has taken from there.

Having had a successful hunt, having happy clients leave camp. There is nothing better.
Knowing that they will return again next year as a friend.
