Recommend A Quality Rimfire scope

I have a Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40 on my Rem 541. Works great!

I have a 2x7 leupold rimfire on my brno 22 and I am very happy with it.It is a squirrel killing machine out to 60-70 yards.

Should I go in for a vortex daimondback or leupold freedom.
Thank you

Leupold makes a very nice 2x7 rimfire scope. Unless you are doing serious competitive target shooting I can't imagine a better choice.
Not being manufactured anymore I think.

It seams that Leupold rules in the USA.

That is the one I put on the 10/22's I tricked out for my sons. Pretty good scope

In the past I've use Airgun scopes with focus down to 10 yards/meters; currently thinking about a 1 min dot RMR for plinking...

Advise a leupold freedom 2-7 or vortex daimondback 2-7.
Thank you

Although i agree w/ the Leupold comments above, it's just a rimfire, so any garden-variety American (or Asian sold by American lol!) scope will do. I used to be fond of saying "Bushnell's were made for .22s!" lol Any BDC stadia lines scope designed for .22LR should do it and help extend your range a bit. I like .22 WMR, but one mfr makes one for it! Have a Bushnell 3-9x 40 duplex on a heavy bbl .22 Mag and it can make great shots out to 150 yds (18" holdover if I recall correctly!) LOL Enjoy!!! Nikons would be a step up from Bushnell, as would Burris.

This spring I picked up a Tikka T1x with 20" bbl, talley rings and a Vortex 2-7x rimfire scope, so far have been very happy with the setup, rimfire sihloutte shooting and squirrels.

Is this a crossfire II or a daimondback.
Thank you

Mine is a crossfire II

Best all around 22 scope I've found is the Leupold Rimfire 4x28 with a factory zero parallax setting of 60 yds. My rifle, a Miroku Win 52 Sporter, is as accurate as any sporter ever made and this scope matches the capability of this rifle almost perfectly. The truth about most 22 rimfire, particularly in the sporter category, is the accuracy potential is almost always limited by the rifle or the ammo or both. Also, if the shooter's sight picture, either by inexperience or old shooting habits, is out of whack, parallax can really bite back at normal rimfire ranges.

I believe the diamond back is the next step up, but for a .22lr I am happy with the crossfireII

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
