I see the advertisement for these guys every month in the SCI Safari Times. Looks like Ranch hunts, some high fence, but not 100% sure about it. Looking at cow elk, pheasant, etc. and wanted to see if anyone had any experience or information.

Following along. Some of those hunts look interesting, and all appear reasonably priced..

Same. Have also seen ads and been curious what their hunts are like. Following to see if anyone has personal experience.

I don’t know these guys. I used to live in Carbon County. Their Contact is in Cheyenne, a couple hours away. Folks in Carbon County kinda looked at Cheyenne folks as city slickers back then. I would ask what ranches (specifically) they have access to. I knew the folks at Buzzard, Stone, Pathfinder, Seminole. I doubt this is happening on one of those. When I lived there, there were no high fence operations in Carbon County, which means drawing a tag. That may have changed, but tags can be challenging there. May be great, but it’s throwing up some not quite red, maybe amber, flags for me.

There are several items that weren't necessarily red flags, but did leave me scratching my head.

1. Guided hunts in B.C. Canada, WY, ND, New Zealand, etc. A lot of ground to cover for 3 Guys, which makes me think broker. Nothing wrong with it, just prefer direct contact with no middle man.

2. Private Land no license needed and the word preserve.

3. Tina called and asked about several hunts, and was told the price in the ad's were not current prices. Why have monthly advertising that is distributed to potential clients across the Country listing prices that are out of date?

I can understand a Bison hunt on fenced private land as drawing a tag in many States is difficult, and depending on the weapon used may present a challenge, otherwise I'd prefer to hunt things that are more free range.

I didn't want to dismiss these guys, as they may offer some great hunting, but the ad and the website raise more questions than they answer.

I clicked on the link to the website. Towards the bottom is another link to a PDF price list with 2023 prices listed. There are also 15 names and phone numbers listed for references. I would call all 15 of them and get the low down.

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
