True. This thread is better than nothing but still falls short by making you do extra footwork. The other way is so obviously superior it’s not even a conversation to be had. Period. If you’re selling something and someone comments on your thread or pms you all you’d have to do is click on their name and there you have all their feedback. The other way you still have to do some legwork if you want the bigger picture.

All that said, the other way is probably more costly or an added cost to the site owner
