Purchased Another rifle I didn't know I needed, 7x64

Just an update. Now that winter is over i got out to do some shooting this morning.
Overall the 173gr S&B ammo i bought is much more accurate. Right at 1moa.
The only troubling thing is one case totally ruptured. I knew something was wrong immediately as I felt the gasses and then sticky bolt lift. Only this one cartridge a all the rest fired fine.

I have shot hundreds of those S&B 173 grain Torpedo rounds with zero problems... and they are accurate and great on game too.

That looks like a bad case, it happens. I note though that the later stuff seems hotter than previous. I had one round of that show obvious pressure signs not long ago. I pulled one down, noted the charge then dumped a few grains out of some others of that box.

Probably the result of the machine that stamps out brass disc's from the brass strip being run too quickly and getting out of time. If a cutting die takes a nick out of a disc that will happen. I only saw it twice at the range complex that I used to run.

Finally got to hunt with this rifle and absolutely love it. The 173gr load took down a roughly 250lb boar in Texas yesterday.

Super proud also of my 15yr of grandson.
3 Pigs and a coyote down in 4 shots. 2 Pigs 5 seconds apart.
He's using a Browning A bolt 30-06

I tried to post a picture of mine with the rifle. But after I touched it up to remove blood it says file not accepted.
It's the boar on the ground by itself anyway in these pictures

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
