Just so yall know and people are saying le chemeau boots. I had a pair that fell apart the very first time I ever wore them in the woods. Rubber separated from inner leather upper after 30 minutes. Le chemeaus response was the best they could do was 10% off a new pair. Since they refused to honor their warranty I will never purchase anything from them again.

Forgot to mention Orvis products, especially their twill shirts--you had better really like the color, because they are not going to wear out any time soon.
Of all things, purchased a dressy harness leather belt there today, which was made in Midland, UK--a truly outstanding product with double row of stitching and fine finish overall. I thought it was cordovan!
Smartfeet boot inserts are thin yet work.
Would be remiss not to recommend Klein tools.

As someone has mentioned, it might be fun to start a thread of "things they ruined" or things that are no longer the same. Must think on this.

The subject line says "not firearms related", so I'll leave off my CH4D dies, and my beloved Mannlicher Schoenauers.

I do like my Tilley Hat.
I'm told it's a maintenance nightmare, but my Land Rover has never let me down.
I don't have a lot of things from Festool, but the things I have work very well.
My Graf hockey skates.
Knipex tools.
Avedon and Colby clothing.
Harken sailboat hardware.
Lie Nielson planes.
Saddleback Leather
My Whisperlite Internationale stove.
Kinsale crystal.
ORCA coolers (and coffee mugs).

I'm sure I'll think of others.

My leather bound Thomas Nelson NKJV Bible (I use several translations, but it’s closer to the translation I memorized from as a child.)

Von Gruff Knives.

Books of enough quality/age that they lack a barcode.

Moleskine journals.

Tusker broadbeads. (VPA 2-blade, single bevel 300gr broad heads are my favorite, but I don’t shoot the weight or justify the cost these days. I’ll save the ones I still have for any potential buff hunts.)

Thermacells.

George Strait Wrangler jeans.

Barrister bookcases.
Hey man, check out the Allan bibles, UK with the goatskin leather covers. Their second bibles are better than most "firsts"--I got one for $50 bucks once. Workmanship is fine, of course the paper can never equal the 100% rag paper of the old Oxfords.

Moleskin. The big sheets, you can always carve off a small piece for the rare blister. It has other uses. For example, once i reversed a large piece against duct tape sticky side to sticky side over a grievous wound pulling the sides together. Injury caused by a razor sharp custom made panga, (machete). Do not loan a custom panga to a Pigmy tracker they are not used to razor sharp blades. They use their homemade pangas daily for hard work and no time for the nonsense of fancy blades. You may find other uses not so exotic for moleskin

Toyota Land Cruisers

Zeiss Binoculars

Darn Tough Socks

Scofield Bibles

Victorinox Swiss Army, butcher, & kitchen knives

Chris Reeves knives

Rolex Watches - I know, many folks think they are stupid. My parents bought me a new stainless Submariner in 1987 for college graduation. I have been offered $10K for it, recently...
I thought I would be "one and done" with high-end watches, but over the last 18 months, I have inherited 2 more...
(Although, I have a Seiko autowinder that is quite impressive, and will not get your hand chopped off in some of the places that fellow African hunter's might find ourselves)

Brownell's Quick-Set Latigo Rifle Slings (sorry, rifle related...)

Old Sear's Craftsman Hand Tools (Snap-On and MAC, are probably even better)

Thomas & Thomas Fly Rods

Husqvarna Chain saws (Although, I might try a Stihl, next time...)

Zippo Lighters (If you want something nicer than a Bic, which always does fine for me, but you have to be able to see lighter fluid)

Surefire Flashlights

Ryobi Rechargeable tools (certainly, not the best quality, but they make almost everything imaginable. I've just standardized on them, to "keep it simple")

Osprey Backpacks (IMO, better "hunting" backpacks are made by Mystery Ranch and Exo Mountain Gear)

Jetboil backpacking stoves

North Face sleeping bags

Marmot Tents (If you are backpacking, Gazelle if you are not)

Helinox camping chairs (If you are backpacking). If not, then whatever you like... ( I paid stupid money for one several year's ago, because my cheap knock-off broke on the first night. IME, when you hike 20+ miles in a day, sitting on the ground around a campfire at night can become miserable very quickly)

WeatherTech Floor Liners for your Truck or SUV. My boots get muddy and almost every vecile comes with carpet now. I use 3 of them in my Lexus GX. (I had to go "aftermarket" for my wife's KIA Sorento to get a good fit, but it worked out just fine). They don't even make them for a 1986 Landcruiser, so I'm fine, for now.

Dang!

I'm embarrassed every time I re-read my own postings.

I use bad grammar and mis-spellings nearly every time.

My high-school English teacher told me that.

I should have listened to her...

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
