Just venting everyone, got email from MidwayUSA @11:08 Large Rifle primers CCI were available, i was on the website by 11:11 none in inventory. DAMN!
thanks for listening.

If you are waiting for the email to show up telling you that things are in stock you are a few hours late.

I tried that years ago on powders, and as each email came in I found that they were back out of stock. So I started checking the web sites first thing in the morning and then whenever I was where I could check. I finally saw what I wanted back in stock and purchased it. Then when I got the email I looked again and they were back out of stock.

I stopped in a decent sized shop last week in north-central Ohio that had most all varieties of primers, $7.00 per hundred, but limit 2 boxes. So they are out there and can be found with some searching, at least around here.

No. @tarbe hoarded them all up, and is currently in his loading room/dungeon rolling around in them on the floor.
I have spread the love to the tune of about 65,000 primers over the past 3 months...so trying to do my part!

I could sure use a brick or two of CCI 215s right now. Unobtainium, apparently.

If a lot of us would of been thinking we could of stocked up and payed for our next trip over to Africa by selling them on the WWW

Isn’t this exciting! Look how much time we’ve all spent looking for reloading components? Kinda like a year ago looking for t.p. or bottled water (never understood that?), a few months ago looking for a Covid testing site and ammo, and now trying to find primers, powder (still ammo) and a Covid vaccine! I love it! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and I haven’t even included our POTUS idiot!

All I need to do to find components is walk into my loading room.

But then if this shortage thing goes on for more than a couple of years I'll also be hurting.

Well, we need a reloading “alert” app. Some search engine looks for all of the available reloading components in real time and pings your phone (probably in the middle of the night) and you hit buy and you have your overpriced components? Or something similar?

Hopefully that is all you buy!

If you end up with a timeshare on Martha's Vineyard....ouch!

Bad time to buy a new-to-me caliber.

I have spent waaaay too much time looking for .475 bullets for my 475 Linebaugh!

I just did a fairly thorough search of most sources online. Looks like for large rifle primers the averages are: low is about $15/100 and the high is about $35/100. I checked the LGS late last week and he had a few large rifle primers and had raised the price to $10/100 and limited to one 100ct per customer per week. I think I have enough but- Ugh :(

Sheesh. I'd have to get back into the primer selling business at those prices...except I could never charge anyone that much...not even @Bullthrower338!

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
