@CZDiesel - I appreciate your respect for me and value your views. The 458 thread is a good example of a productive discussion displaying our differences of opinion without being ugly. Cheers.

Rifles - Do I need to say it? Blaser R8.
Shotgun - Benelli SBE3 & Blaser F3. Still looking for a proper upland O/U.
Women - My wife of 30 years has auburn hair…so.
Prefer red South African tea over coffee.
Favorite movies - Star Wars, Full Metal Jacket, The Searchers and Unforgiven.
Hunting partner - Wife, because she has an eagle eye.
Favorite game - Waterfowl for the sheer volume and variety of species. African DG would a close second.
One of the great things about AH and its members are how well they treat each other! Not only in the forums but in real life!
I’ve never seen another site give away so many valuable items to other members! I’ve never seen or heard of the community and kind hearted displays towards others. I’ve never seen so much valuable information well beyond cartridge loads or rifle recommendations and I’ve never seen acts of kindness like the ones bestowed upon my by people you have never met in person!
This is a special place that is filled with great people including you @BeeMaa I also completely respect you and your views even though I might have to vigorously debate them lol
Your movie selections and your “Eagle Eyed” hunting partner choices are impeccable!!!

I forgot my baby! Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe! I Crashed her in July in Nova Scotia, on my way to Newfoundland... I got cut off by a horse trailer... 17 broken bones and a collapsed lung, two weeks in the hospital... but I had her shipped home and restored her to her former glory... can't wait for spring, to do it all again!
Good gawd, man! You are lucky to be alive!

Reading through the thread I have formed several opinions…

One, pretty much everyone has really great taste! Two, even though having said that most don’t have the same taste! This is a great as we can see that we all differ yet still have great choises! Third, I feel as if I know all of you just a little better and now know what to get you on Christmas when you visit lol

All of you that haven’t responded, if willing we’d love to hear from you

Tall Blondes, Big Bore Double rifles, Spinone Dogs, Vintage Griffin Howe M98's, Land Rover Defenders, Russell Moccasin boots, HK sidearms, Schmidt & Bender Scopes, Lucas Forge Knives, perfectly cooked red meat, red wine, two hearted ale, and cold hard cash........I too am a simple man.
Cold Hard Cash! That’s great! Me too!

Yes, sir... it was a rough summer, laid up and in pain. The worst of it was, I was too busted up to do a Montana horseback elk hunt I had booked, had the tag in hand too... lost my deposit and shed a few tears over it, lol... it was the first thing I thought of when I hit the pavement, I whined about it to the firefighter that was injecting me with fentenyl on the tarmac! But I healed up enough to take an antelope in Wyoming and a bear and WT for the freezer... will have to kick azz in 2025 to make up for lost time!
