Prayers..

Just catching up on my AH reading. Glad to hear the surgery went well, and we'll continue prayers for your wife's recovery.

But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD ~ Jeremiah 30:17

Great news ! Now my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery !

I hope everything turns out well for you and your wife.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for your wife, We're all pulling for her Johnny .

Could never thank you guys enough

Glad to hear surgery went well, and wishing her a full and speedy recovery.

Johnny mark my words, in a week or so the pain of surgery will be gone and your wife will return to normal, i.e. barking orders. When she does that you'll know that everything is on the right track. Hang in there buddy.

Believe or not I’m looking forward to that. Thanks very much

First venture into this thread.

It does a heart good.

Sometimes God allows adversity in order to focus us on something other than what has been consuming us...a re-direct of sorts.

We know God's will is always accomplished...no one can stay His hand.

What we don't always know is...just what is God's will in a particular instance?

We do know that God wants us to know Him and to know the One He sent. His will is for us to be conformed into the image of His dear Son.

We know that all things work together for good...even those things that to our finite mind, seem so bad. As His children, we don't have to worry that He is going to ultimately forsake us.

We trust God with our eternal soul. We can trust Him with this perishing body. But more importantly, we can trust that His promises are sure and we can rest in them.

When your mind wants to worry, remember God's goodness, His faithfulness, and His sovereign power. Then trust Him to carry you and your dear wife through this, into greater faith and greater fellowship - with each other and with Him!

God's richest blessing to you. May your faith and the faith of all who witness be sustained and strengthened through this trial and may this episode be used by God to glorify Himself!

Thank you.

Still in our hearts during this trying time. Be strong and don’t lose faith!

Thank you sir. Waiting on the pathology report is very difficult. Keep the prayers coming all. Thank you all so very much

Just brought Home Mrs. Blues. Glad she’s home. Going to be a slow recovery but I’m here for her. Praying once again for that pathology report to be ok. What a time this is in our lives. We are healthy people so things like this are not the norm for us.

Hug your loved one. This has taught me a lot about life and friends and for that matter strangers. It’s so easy to take a lot for granted when life is “ normal “. Hopefully our life will get back on track and we can continue our plans for the future.

Once again we could never thank everyone enough for the well wishes and prayers. It’s been overwhelming. A lot of you contacted me in private and offered any help you could give, anything from email me or here is my cell number and call if you need to talk. Thank you. I wish you all a merry Christmas and most of all a healthy new year.

Won’t be much of a festive holiday for us but we will be together. Next year will be much better! Bless you all my brothers.

Wishing you and your wife a wonderful and peaceful festive season. Best of health to you both for the new year. Merry Christmas, Jerome

Thank you Jerome. Means a lot to us. Peace to you and your family.

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe
