Going back to hunt with the Kanana bunch next month. Meeting the wife in Amsterdam on April 23, two nights at Afton House then on to Botswana for a six day hunt, three nights in the delta and back to Afton for two days before heading back to work. Looking for a big waterbuck and black wildebeest this year with lots of rest and relaxation.

from what ive gathered from your posts ,sand rat you earn your breaks the hard way .
hope you and your wife have a trip to remember ,and get all the relaxation you can , mate

Thanks Bluey, here lately I feel like I've been rode hard and put up wet. I'm really looking forward to seeing the wife and making the hunt.

In Sept/Oct........ if some problems are solved by then. Red Lechwe, Common Reedbuck, Hyena, Baboon, Jackal, and a couple of Warthogs to round up are on the menu.

If not, there s always next year.

Headed over to RSA in June for 14 days of hunting plus a week of business.

I'll be hunting with Andrew Renton of Kei River Safaris again. We'll be after Vaal Rhebok, blue and red duiker, oribi, common reedbuck, bushbuck and zebra. Got the following waiting in the batters box: bushpig, vervet monkey, genet, red hartebeest, baboon, ostrich, and white blesbok.

Looking forward to a grand trip.

I was planning a Lion/Plains Game hunt for 2015. However, I am pretty concerned about Lion closure so I have moved it up to a Lion/Sable/Hyena hunt for October 2014. Pretty excited.

My wife and I just got back from our first trip to Africa which included a 9 day PG hunt with Crusader in the East Cape. Had a blast!
