Very strange news. A plane or UAV crashed in urban area of croatian capital.

Foreign portals report this:

Tu-141 "Strizh" Missile-Like Drone From The War In Ukraine Looks To Have Crashed In Croatia (Updated)

The mysterious craft that slammed into Croatia's capital appears to be a Soviet-era jet-powered drone that only Ukraine operates.

I dont think a drone will have parachuted crew. So most probably this is a manned military plane crashed.

It’s possibly a recovery parachute. I’ve seen them on smaller US target drones.

Not sure why that one does, but if it’s the TU-141 it may have flown out of controller range (540 nautical miles) or had a critical error after being deployed (it’s an old Soviet drone used by Ukrainians).

However, I think they are one of the exceptions (similar to the German Hessians). I believe that’s primarily due to the culture and mystique developed by/for the Foreign Legion.

I have friends that are former US military turned mercenaries, and they desperately want to get to Ukraine. Some people just like war

Not only is it easy for them to assume the people have short memories or just lack intelligence, but they also assume putting the blame elsewhere also takes the pressure off of them to do something about it. Now they believe it's ok to throw up their arms and say "There's nothing we can do now, it's all Putin's fault."

A few years ago, my wife went to Israel for a holy land tour. While there, she met a family that lives in southern Ukraine and does Christian missionary work. The husband is from the US and the wife is from Ukraine. We recently contacted them to see how they are doing and to figure out how to send them some financial support. I received an email from them today. I think the area they live in is now Russian occupied.

Thank you for praying for our family and for Ukraine during this very difficult time.

For now, yes, our internet (through our phones) is still working and we are grateful!

I try, I really try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but geez, our Vice President is no less embarrassing than her numbskull boss. At least his dementia gives him some semblance of an excuse. She when to Poland to “represent” us with no message, no plan, and no answers and that stupid cackle that pierces awkward silence like no other. I painfully tried listening to as much as I could about her trip today and I could find absolutely nothing that was not cringeworthy. If anyone knows of anything productive that emerged from her existence over there, please show it.
