Should have been easy homework for you. Lisa Murkowski is GOP senator from Alaska. Google her. Or maybe her govt website is fake news? :D
SHE IS FAKE RINO MATERIAL SO YEA SO IS HER WEBSITE, you are a sucker she baited

I find this statement interesting for a couple of reasons.

1. Evidently Blanche is saying DOJ prosecuted Maxwell without offering a deal to implicate others, or investigating other potential perpetrators.

2. Maureen Comey, Jim Coney’s daughter, was AUSA for SDNY and prosecuted Maxwell. She was fired from DOJ last week.

Not sure where this will lead if anywhere but it seems DOJ wasn’t interested it pursuing anything beyond Epstein and Maxwell.

Yep, all you young men get you some game, lay down your money and take your chances.

I guess if you can’t get a beautiful woman because you’re attractive and/or you’re interesting and you can curl her toes, you can always buy the company of one. Pathetic and no game.
Socio-economic status matters to women. Those beautiful women are not going to date the cashier at your local hardware store regardless how how interesting he might be.

Some time ago I was sitting at a tennis club at Palo Alto, CA with three women, socializing. One of them asked another. “Hey, what do you know about XXX, he asked me out.” The answer “He is a nice guy, he has a Porsche.”

Isn’t WCS a heavy crude? The heavy crude usually trade at a discount to lighter crudes, such as WTI.
Sorry - just saw this.

Yes, Western Canada Select is a heavier crude than West Texas Intermediate, and that accounts for some of the differential between the two markers. But not all of it - apart from things like transportation, "market access" is a big factor in the differential, and it's here that having more buyers makes a difference. So when the Trans-Mountain expansion started up, you saw a decline in the differential.

I don't know if you know the industry well, so apologies if I'm being pedantic, but refineries which are configured to run heavier crudes like WCS won't buy lighter crudes (absent extenuating circumstances) to substitute. Having invested $ billions in things like crackers, hydro-treaters, etc., they need to earn a return on that investment, which they do by paying less for the crude input. Running light crudes would normally idle these expensive units, and cost the downstreamer/refiner money.

Apart from all that though, I think we can all understand that having more buyers for your products is a better idea than having only one buyer. Right?

Fake rino material that beat her closest Republican competitor in the primary election by a whopping 12,000 votes. Hmmm. Why didn't the good ol boys in the party machine vote her out? I didn't do the numbers but I'd be surprised if the 16 other candidates on the primary ballot (less the lone Democrat), many who were also GOP (also Libertarian, Independent, and Green Party), together add up to 12,000 votes. Even had they not been allowed on the ballot under the old boy party convention bullshit, I find it hard to believe Murkowski's Republican competitor would have absorbed all those votes. More likely that those candidates' family members, coworkers, neighbors, etc simply would not have voted. Or those votes would be split between Murkowski, the other GOP candidate, and the third place Democrat. Which is more or less probably what happened in the general election. Murkowski has won  every election since 2010, primaries or general. To claim she stole the election and doesn't represent the Republican voters of Alaska is not borne out by the statistics. It seems to me the current radicalized GOP party machine is out of touch with Alaska's GOP electorate. Good that Republican voters had an alternative to blind partisinism. I see shared votes system as much more conforming to the objectives of democracy.

Well, they may "date" him depending on some physical factors. However, he's' generally not a keeper, unless those "factors" outweigh the money at least for a while.

Agreed, Canada needs the new trans mountain line laid for waterborne export. The route is identified but politics and native land issues are a huge hurdle.
The expansion was certainly delayed and costs increased as a result of politics and aboriginal/First Nations issues, but it did eventually start up in May of 2024, adding about 500,000 barrels/day of west coast export capacity (at current prices for WCS, that's over US$25MM/day).

Interestingly (at least to me!), a lot of that additional crude went (and is still going) to California refineries, which are both easily accessible from Canada's west coast and ideally configured to run heavier crudes (historically the oil available to these refineries was heavier than WTI - you can see some of it if you walk on certain California beaches in bare feet!).

Sending more oil to California doesn't bother me in this case - once the oil is on a tanker, California has to compete with every other buyer in the world, so Canada gets a "world price" for the oil. That's not the case with pipelines which run from Canada to the US, where we are captive to the one buyer.

Read the 22nd Amendment and the history of its unfolding. The framers actually withdrew "physically" and "mentally" from the wording. The requirement is specifically nonspecific: "incapable". This would, for example, allow the VP to step in if the president was kidnapped. But I really have to wonder how much goofier does Trump need to become before achieving the threshold for incapable? Sadly, the checks and balances aren't working at all right now so he's free to make no sense at will. If the country went to war tomorrow, Trump would have to be pushed aside. He is not capable of running a free lunch.

I don't know...let's see....Clinton, Obama, and Biden dropped "money" and sanctions on Iran.

Trump dropped bombs on Iran.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Trump has the better "war" record.

It’s absolutely true but it’s always been the nature of man. I was a very handsome 20 year old that was extremely tall, fit, blond, blue eyes, had a “good” job. I had very little luck with ladies even though I was probably in the 95th percentile.

But balding and a bit overweight at 30 with a top-2% income? Beautiful women were in no short supply.

Every single English piece of 19th century romance literature was this exact scenario. Men hit their peak value in the sexual marketplace when they have means, women much younger when they have fertility.

For all of human history, most men didn’t breed because they lacked the requisite value. (E.g. 1/6th of all Irish have a shared 3rd century grandfather that had an epic harem and controlled all the means)

The younger generations of both sexes fail to understand what the other sex values. No debt blue collar young men are going to be the playboys of the next 20 years.

well yeah, if you’re caught up in the country club wolf pack already, the goal is to climb to den mother by any means possible.

But I know plenty of average salary guys with beautiful wives.

Hell, I told my lovely wife I drove a beat up Datsun before we started dating and she still wanted to go out.

Good looks and/or money don't have anything to do with compatability. My first wife was a gorgeous tall blonde. I think she may be on husband #5 now. Four for sure. Always looking for greener pastures. She's left a trail of really messed up kids in her wake. After that I had a glamorous job as park ranger, trim, great family, no debts, lots of travel, wonderful dog, couple of horses, etc. Some dolly looking for money might not be interested in me then and I could care less. Not interested in a partner as a status symbol. But I still had lots of companionship. Enough anyway. And then I found a gal who fit the spot. Not a knockout but very attractive for many reasons. Never met anyone who didn't like Cathy. She's been in the ground next to my son for fifteen years. Since then no one that could compare and I'm fine with that. Lots of money and no debts might make me a decent catch but I learned the hard way there are worse things than living alone. I can get used to living with my dogs and talking to the walls. Living with the wrong person is heartache and miserable.

Gees! Clinton started the war with Iraq. Obama was cleaning that up and Afghanistan. Also Biden. Thankfully all were intent on limiting additional American incursions in that Middle East mess as much as possible.

I’m not a cashier at a hardware store but never had to buy a beautiful woman. Been married both times to beautiful women that are hotter than lava. First one was 26 and I was just 18. Second wife is a bit younger than me and we’ve been married 32 years.

My boys both married smart, hot gals - one is an Engineer for IBM. My daughters are very attractive and are both married to great guys. Nobody bought anybody. I would suggest expanding your circle or game. Not all beautiful women are shallow or gold diggers.

“Socio-economic status matters to women.” Ya think?! More to some than others, I suppose. When a woman tells her lady friends that she’s dating someone new, their first question is inevitably, “what does he do.” When a guy tells his buddies he has a new gal, they inevitably ask, “Got a picture?!”

I agree with that, my current partner (longest relationship I had, going on 13 years) is the most loving, caring person I have ever been with.

She is also my type, much younger, tall, blonde and athletic.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
