Getting expensive for some people......if you can get a visa that is.....

Downside of this is that most other countries will reciprocate. So, it will cost to visit other countries.

I don’t doubt legal reviewed it…

I just have doubts that the WSJ really wants to drag out a defense and stay in the public eye over a question of integrity for a long period of time… “winning” (assuming they can) may well cost them a lot more than just writing a check, and forcing a couple of reporters onto unemployment..

I’m not sure they have the backbone to fight…

3 years ago I would have bet they’d have welcomed the brawl… the court of public opinion was tilted another direction then..

Today, I question if they really want to roll the dice with court in South Florida, and the rising popularity of conservative “thought leaders” like Kirk, Kelly, Tucker, Shapiro, etc that will take every opportunity to burn the traditional and more liberal press to the ground…

WSJ has been experiencing a continual decline in both readership and advertising dollars for right at a decade.. they’re not going to want to increase the speed of that decline if they can avoid it..
It's a very tricky little equation.

You look at the legal costs etc, and then balance that against the benefit of being able to depose Trump at length on all of the issues raised. There is huge value in having Trump deposed, just like there was when Clinton was.

Downside of this is that most other countries will reciprocate. So, it will cost to visit other countries.

Maybe…

Although in most cases that would be stupid..

Americans go abroad and spend a lot of American dollars on everything from tourism to business… make it difficult and Americans stop traveling to your country and start spending their dollars elsewhere…

As a rule the people coming to the US from the countries specified in that article aren’t spenders or contributing to our economy is any measurable amount.. there are obviously exceptions, but as a rule the typical Kenyan coming to the US isn’t bringing a huge wad of cash..

The 43 countries that are exempt are exempt for a reason..

:unsure:.......is it just me or could all of these law suits and "plea" deals amongst all these big money individuals and corporations really be a way of publicly and ~ legally?? making / exchanging payoffs of sorts.

It happened throughout the Obama administration. Agencies would say companies did things wrong and have DOJ sue them. The companies would settle and instead of the money going to the treasury they went to nonprofits and NGO’s that funded pet causes and also contributed to political campaigns.

On the private side Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton perfected the corporate shakedown bringing in money to their organizations for private retraining.

The USA has labelled both Canada and the EU as threats to their "National Security" in order to justify new duties declared by their military Commander-in-Chief on the international trade of steel and aluminum. So I suggest that USA made products such as firearms and ammunition should be sold exclusively within the USA so Canada and Europe can help our esteemed neighbour defend themselves and improve their national security. Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that Canadians and Europeans should make do with their own products exclusively. For all our AfricaHunting friends in Canada, Europe, Africa and elsewhere, please don't buy any American made products. Lets's support the USA in their concern. One can never be too careful when there are evil guys to deal with, and it is our duty to help, as always.
I've been to Canada many times. You guys drive our cars, wear our clothes, eat our food, etc. Go ahead and start your little boycott. We really don't need you.

You’ve got 3000+ pages of reading in this thread to catch up on… the original post was debated in the opening months of Trumps first term… there have plenty of new debates to transpire over the last 8 years that are much more current..

Kudos to TULSI Gabard, dir. of natl. Intel. for producing the paper trail evidence of Obama's, Brennen, Comey, Rice TREASONIST PLOT to stop Trump 's election in 2020. the evidence is now in BONDIS office.
You cant make this stuff up, call it conspiracy stuff if you like, Its NOW in black and white ink on BONDI'S desk. no denials . out come the long knives. God bless America , and M A G A.

Those Epstein files? When do you think Trump will release them ?

Much of the world as I imagine most of America would find their content fascinating.

I’ve heard both Comey and Brennen recently conflating the fact that Russia tried to interfere with the 2016 election. So to now have the excuse that what they meant to say was Russia was a bad actor.

And distract the simpletons of the fact that they created false evidence and put that in front of a FISA court. Then spied on US citizens using tools and devises exclusively designed and built to only be used on foreign enemies.

Of course Russia interferes with every election. They use social media and promote unrest in the streets.

But does anyone here believe for one minute that anyone will face the consequences ?

These IMSI devices and other less known more classified equipment is said to have been used on people in Trumps 2016 sphere.

Like his university transcripts and medical record proving his 4F military draft ineligability that Trump promised to release, the Epstien files will never see the light of day.

Now Trump claims he will obstruct construction of the DC football stadium if they don't change their name back to Redskins. Whaaaat? Is he nuts? Like he thinks he can wave a wand and make Canada a US state. Doesn't he know only Congress can create states? Of course he doesn't know. Doesn't know even basic shit about how the US govt works. Says he'll run for a third term. Anybody with a government job, even a janitor, knows the 22nd Amendment limits presidents to two terms. Hell, any kid with a high school diploma should know that. Or any kid with a sixth grade education should know drinking disinfectant will be fatal. As usual Trump doesn't have a clue. Personally, I think the name changing was silly but that's the ball clubs' business. Trump is a businessman. He should know it's a business's choice how they decide to describe themselves. Would he want the government telling him he should be renaming Trump company? Or breaking government contractual obligations to enforce the name change? The guy is an idiot or off his rocker or both. It's time some responsible people in government took a hard look at the 22nd Amendment. But sadly there's probably not much chance of making that work as Trump has packed the Cabinet with people just as zany and stupid as he is (e.g. Kennedy and Bondi). Why should we doubt Trump sent that email to Epstein? We've all heard the tape recording of his disgusting sexist "locker room talk" interview with the reporter. His crass devaluing women is old news. He blew that off and the Stormy Daniels payoff so why not blow this off? Republicans don't care. He could cover himself in dog shit and dance nude down Pennsylvania Ave and they'd still be waving their MAGA flags. Bind as earthworms. And just as smart.

Alberta has no plans to send any more oil south - the pipeline capacity isn’t there. President Trump has promised to issue permits for the Keystone pipeline from Alberta to the US, proposed before his first term, the permits for which were cancelled in the early days of the Biden administration. But no company seems prepared to take him up on the offer. Perhaps his threat to put a 10% tariff on oil exports from Canada to the US seemed a bit at odds with his desire for more oil to flow south?

As someone in the Alberta oil patch, I am very much against building any more capacity to the US. The US is already our biggest customer, and what Canada needs is diversity (ugly word?!) of oil buyers. When the US was pretty much the only buyer of Alberta oil, the differential between Alberta oil prices (called WCS) and WTI was quite large. Since we’ve begun sending more oil to the west coast through the (newly expanded) Trans Mountain pipeline, differentials have narrowed. Additional capacity south would only widen those differentials again.
Agreed, Canada needs the new trans mountain line laid for waterborne export. The route is identified but politics and native land issues are a huge hurdle.

If your I.Q. is low enough that you believe all of this, maybe you should stop watching what Rush Limbaugh called the "Drive by Media".

I am not Canadian but agree that Canada needs multiple outlets for its products so they can get the best price. Canada also needs to vertically integrate and refine the tar sands to add value and keep the money at home.

I do not care for Trump personally, that being said not agreeing with someone politically is not a reason to declare him mentally incompetent.

Who cares? I don’t see how being friends with Epstein some 20+ years ago is an issue. Epstein was part of the NYC social scene at that time and everyone had a connection with him.

Heck, look at Trump’s wedding guests during that time. Clintons and Democratic establishment were there and today they despise him.

I think it is more likely the sign of the times. I'd submit the high body count also goes for males as well.
There are also more 20 year old female virgins than 100 years ago

Pursuant to the stats on prior pages that I believe are obsolete, here's a recent one that is absolutely dumbfounding, yet suggests the cultural shift underfoot:

It is estimated that 1.2 million women between the ages of 18 and 24 have OnlyFans accounts in the United States. This figure represents approximately 1 in 10 women in that age range.
Yep, we have a generation of young women where 10% of their demographic are involved in sex work.

Onlyfans paid out over $5 billion dollars last year.
But 80% of creators made less then $150 a month.
