Iran now claims they moved essential elements of their program and the uranium prior to the U.S. strikes.

What else are they going to say? :E Hmmm:

They may have removed a few things, but it's doubtful they have time to move much. China most certainly helped as there were aircraft from China moving in and out of Tehran in the last week.

Is it just me, or does this look like kegs of beer?

President Trump did something I’ve been wanting to see done for the last 45 years. Iran used to be one of the Middle East’s most civilized & forward thinking countries until the so-called “Islamic Revolution” there destroyed everything in 1979.

But I am concerned about one thing. Knowing radical Islam as I do, fanatical supporters of Iran & Palestine will probably try to have a terrorist cell inside the US try to do something very destructive on American soil within the foreseeable future (like a suicide bombing or a mass shooting or something). Probably the indoctrinated types that like to riot “Free Palestine !” on college/university campus grounds. And unlike Americans or Israelis, these people like to attack civilians.

I hope I’m wrong though…

I have some extended family that lived there prior to the revolution. They worked in the oil field. They absolutely loved it there. Fled with the clothes on their backs just in time.

When I graduated my post graduate degree of “Principles Of Forestry” in the University of Peshawar in 1969, my parents & I spent 14 days in Iran on holiday on the way back to Bangladesh (then East Pakistan). It used to be such a beautiful country back then. The schools, the universities, the shops, the restaurants, the freedom of the women.
Then, that one “Revolution” turned this Middle Eastern jewel into a savage hell that went a thousand years back in time overnight.

Hopefully Iranians can now take back their country.

Watching General Dan Cain and General Kurilla this morning it’s very apparent that our military is back in competent hands. The last 4 years of DEI pentagon leaders are gone.

I hope every member of the military is able to watch the briefing I watched. It’s very inspiring to know you are being led by true professionals. General Cain made it very clear that he will protect any service member in the region. And it would be a huge mistake to attack them.

Knowing that your leader has your back and will do anything to protect you has huge motivational power. And motivates a service member do give their all.

I also appreciate that Trump allowed the DOD to brief us first. That he didn’t rush out to take all of the credit. I’m sure that’s coming. But at least he let General Cain to brief the country.

We now finally have Deterrence back.

Assuming you can get through the five minutes of the cloyingly obsequious Hegseth praising his boss, the CJCS provides a surprisingly candid description of the actions taken and what was used.

I fully concur with @Altitude sickness, Kurilla has a superb reputation among combat arms soldiers in the army, and the more I see of the new Chairman, the more impressed I am.

125 total aircraft
7 B-2 bombers - flew east from Whiteman directly to the target
Small group flew as a decoy set into the Pacific.
14 GBU-57 bombs were employed
75 total precision guided weapons

Every cabinet member starts every brief stroking Trump  Its hilarious how simple and pandering it is. But apparently works
The master of the craft of stroking Donald is Bibi Netanyahu! He knows how to get what he wants from our President.

I’m watching Gen. Jack Keane on Fox. Why shouldn’t he get Tulsi (“Nukes? What nukes?”) Gabard’s job?
He would be superb in any National security billet. But he turned Trump down for SECDEF the first time around. He has no desire or intent to swim in that quagmire again after battling Rumsfeld. More to the point, he is 82. Fortunately, he remains a wise counselor to whom Trump can and does turn regularly.

Though the President is ignoring him with respect to Ukraine.

I wonder if these Chinese flights were removing key individuals and families or critical components of their nuclear program. Perhaps both.
