Uh, no. The definition of "compatriot" is one that is holding citizenship in the same country.

That is exactly the problem. When you are "peaceful protesting" against LE removing non-citizen (read: Illegal) there is an issue.

That the problem has been exacerbated by decisions/actions/lack of action by current state and prior federal administration does not make illegally coming into the country an allowable practice.

Whose compatriots? I live in Southern California and I am glad that someone is willing to take this situation in hand as both the governor of California and the city council and mayor of LA refuse to. A major US city is in the grip of violent anarchy and that is intolerable.

I also share no kinship with those who burn cars and smash windows while waving foreign flags. This is not protest, it is terrorism.

I won’t accuse you of TDS as it isn’t really an argument but what you wrote was patently foolish and ignores the reality of the situation. These are not peaceful protests. People and property are being damaged. Trump is within his rights and his duty to help sort out the situation since nobody else with authority to act has.
