Don’t need to be an expert poker player to win a hand of card either but it helps.

LOL...

You guys' seriously crack me up with your condescending bullshit...

I'll take my chances "playing cards" with the likes of you any day...

Social security admin sends out a proof of life form every year or to SS recipients.
Benefits are supposed to be cut off if the form is not filled out and returned by due date.
Recently, SSA has cut off SS benefits to expats in foreign countries who do not have a valid U.S address. It has caused quite a panic among those who rely on that monthly benefit payment to survive.
Social security has never sent me that form a d I've drawn for nine years

That’s what makes this forum so great. We have folks with significant expertise in diverse fields. I truly appreciate what I have been able to learn from other members.

I could not agree more. Frankly I am in awe of the knowledge base of many of you, and it is fun to learn. I feel a bit sheepish: my own areas of expertise are much, much less important: how to make bad-ass gravy, running an effective elementary classroom, planning for remote hunts and also remote EE classes for teens, how to paint a fish... not exactly helpful to this group. So I will keep listening and learning. :ROFLMAO: :p

Sorry, I don't take your reference... I'm not a hundred years old.. :giggle:

Calling bullshit when I see it makes me a grumpy old man??
That's not only hilarious... It's the epitome of the many, many pots on here calling the kettle black... LOL...!

Yes I’m the oldest and grumpiest 31 year old you’ll ever meet. But I mean why let the truth get in the way of a good argument.

The venerable Patrick McManus embraced and promoted the concept of the curmudgeon. It's a title I gladly accept, so I guess that makes me a grumpy old man, which is in many ways synonymous.

To each their own, but engaging @WAB in an argumentative fashion about the petroleum industry seems like bringing a pokey stick to a gun fight, but whatever floats your boat. As a parallel I'd never consider doing that with you regarding issues of law enforcement.

Really?? A 31 year-old making Muppet references?? That's sad dude...

I hate to break it to you, but that only gives you less credibility to comment on much of anything... Not more...

Want to keep going? I'm just a 55-year-old curmudgeon with nothing better to do than destroy posters of bullshit on a social media sites... Your move slick... ;)

That goes for me too. The depth and breadth of knowledge from a lifetime of work and experience on an international level within the AH community is not found in very many places. It just shows that hunters rock!

For the record, I challenge you, or him to quote where I doubted or questioned him on his knowledge of the "oil business"... That's complete bullshit, and I don't know why that's being perpetuated in the discussion...

His original comment to me about U.S. dependence on Canadian energy has absolutely nothing to do with my point about the USA having options with respect to energy and every other traded commodity whether it be with Canada or elsewhere...

Again, nothing to do with the oil business and everything to do with basic economics which I will happily debate here with anybody, anytime...!

Yes because the only measure of the value placed in one’s words is the amount of rotations they made round the sun. Not at all in the manner in which they choose to interact with fellow forum members.
I’ve been in conversation with WAB off and on for years, he has an open invitation any time he makes it back to Nova Scotia to visit at one point we were discussing a joint pheasant hunt before Covid derailed the plan.
The man has an entire career of knowledge in which to draw on in the oil industry yet you feel you with a basic understanding of supply and demand stand his better.
You feel superior to me in all area simply because of my age yet you couldn’t be bothered to check my age before assuming I was your equal or superior in years in a previous post. Out of curiosity though at what age does one stop speaking like a frat boy ? Sad Dude ? Slick?

I stand behind my original assessment you sir are a muppet.

Everyone I ever met always resorted to name calling when they no longer had facts or valid arguments to make...

My age has nothing to do with being superior to you or anyone else here... My education, knowledge, and life experiences provide that... I have plenty of all of the above to hold my own with anyone here...

Your posts and reactions are all fairly typical of every immature snowflake I have ever met... LOL...

Well, it looks like my worst fears of a Trump presidency may be realized. We appear to be on the verge of forcing Zelensky out and installing a Russian puppet in Kiev. It is difficult to believe that we can be this naive.
What is astounding to me is that Russia and USA are negotiating about Ukraine without Ukraine's presence. It almost makes me believe the conspiracy theories about Putin having something on Trump.

Same question I asked @WAB; Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden. Which one handled Putin the best?

This all started with facts you chose to ignore several U.S. refineries are dependent on Canadian crude it’s a fact they are otherwise landlocked and not configured to handle any other form of crude. The U.S. buys that crude at below market value yet you somehow think you could simply replace that on the open market? If the tariff war proceeds and Canada pipes oil to the coast the U.S. looses both production and revenue that you are dependent on. Could well be a double blow because the likely buyer waiting in the wings is china any deal where china gain revenue and product while the u.s. looses revenue and product should be pretty self explanatory as bad yet you still hold the U.S. isn’t dependent on Canadian product?

But what the hell do I know I’m still wet behind the ears.

According to the latest news overhere Trump is blaming Ukraine for the war even though they were attacked by Russia in 2014 and 2022. I really don’t know what think. Either we have a madman or the whole world has been deluted. I am open for both answers.

I’m not nearly as articulate or as knowledgeable on the subject as @WAB that is why I and many others her defer to his experience and expertise.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
