Many politicians world wide and US Presidents have had doctrines. (Monroe Doctrine).

What do we call Trumps blitzkrieg on 18 different fronts. It’s just too broad to call the Trump Doctrine.

I don't know but the memes would be epic

His countrymen should head his message.

Trump needs to remind Castro Jr. and his replacement that unless they stop with the Woke military nonsense and start rebuilding their military they will either be booted from NATO or the US will withdraw.

Canada has the luxury to spend too much on socialism because we spend so much on defense.
And they are a parasite of that strong defense we provide.
Freeloading, knowing we will come to their defense.

It wasn’t that long ago that Canada had a strong, proud military. Any quality members left are very demoralized by social engineering and no funding.
Back in 2004 I was bird hunting south of Saskatoon in a small town called Dundern. There was a Canadian army firing range near by, we ran into several soldiers in our travels and at our hotel restaurant. These were some really squared away and motivated soldiers. Mostly lower ranked NCO’s, makes me wonder what I would run into if I went back up there in today’s world!

I worked with CANSOF a few trips and they were absolutely great and competent guys.

I’ve employed former PPCLI and JTF soldiers from Canada a few different times.. always professional and very capable…

I worked with the Canadian Navy in the [emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]’s and [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]’s They were highly skilled and motivated then. The same high quality people are still there.

My brother in law is a Canadian Naval Officer. They still have very capable people, albeit under equipped and led by possibly the worst PM in the history of the country.

Good Morning Doubleplay, I appreciate that you being a minority in your views on this site are able to voice your opinions. Without it getting ugly. How boring it would be to recite our same views to only those that hold the same beliefs and opinions.

BUT!
As I have said before. Ending DEI does not mean there should not be equal opportunities.

Ending illegal immigration does not mean we do not want legal immigration.

Ending trans dancing hour in elementary school doesn’t mean we hate Trans and Gay people.

And getting rid of the nefarious USAID that refuses congressional oversight. Does not mean we can not help other people and nations in need.

These are lazy arguments meant to lure the discussion away from the real issue.

USAID has had zero oversight for decades. And have been involved in overthrowing our enemies enemies enemy which we end up either arming or fighting with our own blood and treasure. USAID is a front for covert regime change and other nefarious operations. We can not discuss here. It’s also a large slush fund.

So now when somebody knocks on the door and ask what they do and we wanna see the books they have been left alone so long they think they are completely above all laws and oversight

We no longer have the luxury to rain billions of dollars all over the world without accountability. The US taxpayer borrowing money for USAID needs to end.
Good Morning,
Thanks for the kind words, I'm just trying to make this section of the forum a little more interesting :)
I never said and will never accept government spending taxpayers money without any kind of oversight.
Let's look at the numbers:
According to government data, the US spent $68bn (£55bn) on international aid in 2023.
That total is spread across several departments and agencies, but USAID's budget constitutes more than half of it at around $40bn - that's about 0.6% of total US annual government spending of $6.75tn.
At the same time we spent $70 billion in Ukraine since the war started and we're sending almost $20 billion to Israel every year.
I think we are looking for savings in the wrong places and like I said it'll make us less safe as a country and individuals around the World if we defund and get rid of USAID.
Also as someone who believes in separation of power in our Republic, one should never accept the president who ever he/she might be playing the role of judge, jury and the executioner and trying bypass the congress where money is appropriated.

The Reckoning..... We shall call it The Reckoning!

“It’s just a penny”. “It’s just a nickel “……. We step over them all the time not thinking that it all adds up.
Yep, many are saying it’s just a rounding error or only a drop in the bucket. If you accumulate enough drops you have a full bucket.
Back in 2018 before a trip to the Eastern Cape my wife and I started throwing change in a jar, when we went to cash it in I had enough for a duiker trophy fee. We have got to start somewhere. I feel like instead of going scorched earth on each government agency I would have gone to each department head and tell them they had 60 days to cut 10% of their spending and if they didn’t comply then go full DOGE on them.

I am confident that at the end of the day national interests will determine the amount of assistance we provide other countries and in what form - just as the vast majority is now utilized. Rubio is experienced enough to maintain that investment. The DOGE review is useful because it will offer an opportunity to purge ideological nonsense from AID (which seem to be pretty small, if outrageous, distributions), and more importantly end the practice of using those dollars to support a progressive friendly press. Perhaps most usefully, the DOGE disclosures provide a brutally effective political tool for the Trump administration to use against its political foes buying it time to make real progress on reform.

The thing about audits/inspections is they are designed to find discrepancies, short comings, and no one likes them. DOGE is just pointing out the wasteful spending of the people’s, (Tax Payers) money. Democrats are just upset because it’s shining light on their questionable actions.

Based on the complete meltdown on the left, i would call it Trumps "Shock and awe" agenda

I was just listening to the news feed about McConnel falling down some stairs. The feed said “a serious health scare” for the senator. Back when Biden fell up the stairs which really takes talent, falling off his bike or falling on stage in Colorado, there was absolutely nothing to see here or worry about.
The double standards continue!

I like his policies.
I have been amazed at the first two weeks.
I love his cabinet.

His public speaking? While I am glad he has sounded more like an adult - and hope it continues - he's not the greatest orator to grace our country's history. Altitude... when you said blitzkrieg, this is what I heard...

USAID and the CIA are involved in regime change abroad. In this article/clip, Shellenberger says that they were involved in the second Trump impeachment, so basically a coup against a setting US President. No wonder Vindman's wife wasn't happy that her husband didn't get a pardon from Biden. :ROFLMAO:

Disagree. That's way to much time to hide stuff, shred papers. I bet every agency is burning up the old shredders as we speak. We need evidence to start punishing those involved

Stay tuned. USAID is just the beginning of shoes to drop.
They are definitely poking several hornets nests of Deep State usurpers

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.
