Looks like Congress may finally start looking into the NIH/Fauci involvement with "Gain of Function" research that was farmed out through EcoHealth/Peter Daszak and Wuhan regarding Covid 19 that has been public information that the media hasn't covered the past 3-4 years. The real key will be when we find out how many biolabs that NIH/Fauci has sponsored for Gain of Function research around the world.

You may be right. You know the military much better than me. I am only going of what Hegseth said and the way I read it is that December 2024 numbers{post election} were the best in 12 years and the January 2025 numbers were the best in 15 years.

I understand the tweet but think its a bit misleading. In 2024 a surge in medical providers removed a backlog of recruits at MEPS. I understand the providers put 300 more recruits per week into the Delayed Entry Program.

I’m guessing they are waiting for someone to be stupid enough to fire on our troops. Or any form of aggression linked to the Cartels.

And they will have an asset close enough with numerous pre approved targets to decimate. I’m sure that isn’t the only asset in the new theater.

I would not want to be the cartel guys that get the first dose of medicine. Unlike their products. It won’t be habit forming.

My best guess is we'll try to play nice with the Mexicans at first.. Provide them with SOME of the critical intel gathered.. and give them the opportunity to either ask us to assist or let them do it themselves..

We know the MX police and MX military both have huge corruption problems (as does much of the govt).. so if/when that fails.. the gloves come off and we start taking care of problems ourselves..

I think that is likely several months away though..

Who I wouldn't want to be is a senior Mexican politician right now...

Support/assist the US.. and the cartels are going to target YOU (a MX senator or governor or mayor or chief of police is a much easier target than their peer in the US)..

Dont support/assist the US.. and the USG is going to very likely do everything in its power to make things very bad for you.. then take out the cartels anyway.. and then demand your government do something about you...

I also don't necessarily see direct military action being the first line of attack by the US.. I think we'll let the Mexicans do that (or not) for a while.. what we'll do is hammer the hell out of all of their financial assets... its hard to run a multi-billion dollar organization without billions of dollars..

Im going to guess a lot of the intel gathering that is being done right now is finding every stash of cash hidden away, every bitcoin account, every bank account, etc.. with a plan to have our cyber ninjas either seize, steal, or destroy everything they can put their grubby little nerdy paws on...

Once you take away their money.. it becomes a whole lot easier to take them off the battlefield..

As I remember the vast majority were apoplectic that we simply built a very unsuccessful pier to supply aid under Biden. You also will have to help me with that whole end state concept as well. This looks like a truly indefinite mission to me.

All that said, I think it might indeed be a worthy if very dangerous project. Though, it is something we haven't tried in the Levant since Lebanon (let's ignore that whole embassy thing). I am simply curious how the anti-nation building crowd squares this particular circle with their leader. Perhaps city state building isn't the same as nation building?
