This of course was not on the scale of 9-11 but when TWA flight 800 went down off Long Island there were, and are still conspiracy theories that a rocket or bomb took it down. Many say they saw a rocket impact the 747.

I was not on that team. But in direct contact daily with the leaders and the guys in the water.

They brought up 98% of the jet and all of the bodies. My contacts said there was no external evidence of a rocket strike. But many still hold that it was shot down. It ended up being an electric short in a fuel tank. There was so much media pressure they housed the guys to the Manhattan project site for a little more security.

There is a guy screaming at me over on X in all CAPS no less that there was no airplane at the Pentagon. He is particularly immune to the notion that being there and wading through half an acre of aircraft bits trying to pull people out could not be true. I am, therefore, a LIAR.

Would love to take him back there. The passengers were nothing but body parts blown into the building. The kids of the Old Guard, 4th BN 3rd INF, spent the next couple of weeks in bio suits and protective masks collecting them. Due to the heat and trauma they could manage an hour or two at a time.

People get invested in this nonsense or trapped in the rabbit hole and become immune to alternative information. It really is cult-like.

Unfortunately something the world has never been in short supply of is truly stupid people..

With modern technology.. those truly stupid people now have the ability to speak to the entire planet in a matter of minutes... where in the past we used to largely be able to keep them in a corner and ignore their cries of ignorance and idiocrasy..

I read something somewhere yesterday (maybe here?) that made the point that Gaetz resigned from the 218th Congress.. but he was re-elected to the 219th congress on Nov 6th.. Nothing says he cant just accept his seat in the 219th, and all that happened is he took a few weeks of unpaid time off..

I don't often say or write something like this but... I'd like to jack-slap the shxt out of that douchebag!
I lost three very fine colleagues who were in the Pentagon briefing a project for improving conditions for military dependants. There are idiots everywhere!

So what does this kinetic expert on X say caused the pentagon damage.

A "Deep State" (yes I know - a bit anachronistic) planted bomb to get us into a war in the Middle East.

As did I. My team was around the corner from where it struck which was a direct hit on the Army personnel offices and part of the G3. Several close colleagues were killed instantly. A navy element was two floors down which is likely where your colleagues were. After I evacuated my team, we ran around the corner and helped a few people out the front side - most of whom were terribly burned. Most survivors made it out the otherside into the central plaza our down hallways.

Everyone was very lucky because that particular section had just reopened after renovation and strengthening.

I don’t often comment on the political thread anymore, it’s better that way, but do read. The one problem with social media is it does give a relatively small number of lunatics an outsized voice, whereas previously they would be in a basement somewhere, unknown.

No doubt those horrific memories, the sights, the smells, the sounds, that fateful day at the Pentagon will be something you will take to the grave. Rest assured your leadership and service that day are very much appreciated by the vast majority of people. I’m still hopeful that good people will still come together during tragic times, to think otherwise is depressing.

Besides the former msm people who have moved to X, there are some really good citizen researchers, analysts, reporters on X but you have to wade through a lot of manure to find them sometimes.

It would appear that Anheuser-Busch is seriously testing the once you go woke adage with a new line of commercials for Bud Light. They have suffered a big loss in market share, so I have no idea if they are too late (almost anything tastes better than a Bud Light), but this is pretty funny.

Appears Bud learned a lesson. Interestingly Jaguar is a couple years behind the times. They rebranded this week and went more woke. I spent five minutes looking at the backlash on social media. Don't think it is going well. Kind of reminded me of the ineptness of the British Leyland management days.

Apparently their stock has taken a pretty good hit as well. Really stupid timing. But then again, it is a British auto company.

You are correct - the only reason I am there - but it also is an absolute sewer.

Sad. How can I ever buy an e-type now?

Interesting short article about the Ukrainian strike inside Russia two days ago using British air launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Apparently, it was launched to take out the leadership of the Russian group of forces directing operations against the Kursk salient and Kharkiv. This is also the area into which initial North Korean forces have been deployed. It appears to have been very successful.

There are several takeaways from the article and particularly the video clip of the strike taken by a UA recon drone. As usual, the Russians claim to have shot down all but two of the Storm shadow missiles which did minimal damage.

If you watch the video closely, you can count the arrival of the missiles. Each is carrying a Broach warhead designed to penetrate protected bunkers. Allowing for a couple of repeats in the film splicing, I count at least ten separate strikes of which at least six and perhaps eight are directly on the same point of impact.

So, first of all, the Russian air defense claims were, shall we say, somewhat inflated. The strike also again brings into the question the actual effectiveness of Russian air defense against even air breathing threats such as a cruise missile.

Secondly, and perhaps even more remarkably, Storm Shadow missiles are launched from aircraft. UA SU-24 aircraft have been adapted to carry the missile. Each attack aircraft can carry two. Therefore, assuming 10 missile strikes, the Ukrainian air force was able to successfully carry out an attack using a five-six aircraft strike package very near the line of contact. This in turn further underscores Russia's inability to exercise air superiority anywhere over the battlefield.

Finally, i would further suggest that Storm Shadow is pretty accurate.

What a total clown. Blaming Trump for lack of trust in gov't.

From a President that caught with his pants down and doesn't know what the definition of sex is......oral sex, to be specific.

This is the Gaetz article that was broken up on X, in a more readable format. Extremely strange story but the reporter seems to have done her research with a number of citations. If this is all correct, there are some very troubling issues within the FBI and DOJ.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
