Many despondent leftists I’m encountering really seem to have us blinders on this whole time. They are genuinely in shock and didn’t think a trump victory was possible.

Personally I wasn’t sure who would win and thought it would be closer but I think the shock some are feeling should be an indicator of the danger of living in a political bubble and only following sources than conform to one’s worldview.

 
I’m originally from South Dakota and my uncles and cousins own farms in SD. My cousin from SD has a cousin from Ohio on his mom’s side who owns farms in Ohio and that Ohio cousin grew up with JD Vance and they are still close friends. He was at the Trump/Vance HQ and Mara Lago when Trump/Vance won the election.

JD Vance is a hunter. He’s hunting birds today in Ohio on the farms. They all might go to SD to hunt birds on our family farms later this year. Hope I could go but with my guiding schedule, I’m not sure. Here’s a picture of the SS motorcade parked along a field they are hunting today. I have other pictures but won’t post them here for obvious reasons. Good to know that Vance hunts and of course Don Jr and Eric Trump all are hunters! I think our hunting pastime will be safe for a while, at least at the federal level!

Sometime soon some MSM people are going to pounce and vilify Vance for going hunting, probably just as hard or harder than they glorified Walz going hunting!

I have a good friend in the USSS and I need to find out what his new detail will be. Haven’t talked to him much since the 1st attempt on Trumps life. He’s been a little busy.

I personally see this as being a transformative 4 years for hunting/fishing in the USA and the world. Don Jr. is very close with Vance. Vance is also a hunter. In addition, dipsh*t Walz tried to push the "Look at me! I'm a hunter!" card.

We could see some transformative legislation regarding public lands, population/breeding surveys, loosening of import trophy laws, etc.

Rogan recently made Vance aware of the right whale BS going on here on the East Coast. It's basically a ploy to kill the boating and fishing industries here. Offshore wind is likely dead in the water (no pun intended) for the ironic reason of decimating marine mammal population.

I can tell you this election, already, affected my life in a substantial way. I am a waterman and fisherman, first. The right whale nonsense and offshore wind would have been incredibly detrimental to my life.

We went through some whale BS last year in the gulf. The feds wanted to implement a speed limit of 10 knots and no transit between sunset and sunrise because of the discovery of a new species of whale. I don’t remember the boundaries of the regulations but I do remember it was around the 100 fathom line so it would have effectively killed our tuna and blue Marlin fishing.

Same here. It would have killed canyon fishing for folks here.

What happened with the whale necropsies here was criminal. Most amount of whale deaths since the age of whaling...just happens to coincide with seismic testing for wind turbines. Then, the folks doing the necropsies, are the same people supporting offshore wind.

Shady circumstances? That would be putting it lightly.
 
We can only hope this scenario works out in the three letter agencies.

I saw that most of this pollution is being caused by farmers burning the stubble from their fields getting ready to plant next years crops. Definitely doesn’t make it right. I would think turning it back into the soil would be more beneficial than the little bit of nutrients they get from burning.

I’ll bet Vance knows how to load his shotgun, unlike Walz.
 
Meanwhile, all soon to be not quiet on the Western front, I can tell you that Arizona will certainly send 5 Republicans to the House, and very likely 6. As of the latest update (yesterday evening):
  • Schwiekert, David 51.40%
  • Crane, Eli 53.55%
  • Biggs, Andy 60.15%
  • Hamadeh, Abraham 55.89%
  • Gosar, Paul 65.97%
  • Ciscomani, Juan 49.15% (Engel, Kirsten DEM 48.61%)
That will get the House Reps to 216 or 217.

PS: Trump, Donald 52.30%, but this is already a done deal; and in the Senate Gallego, Ruben DEM 50.01% with Lake, Kari REP 47.96%, one of the rare split tickets of 2024, but she discredited herself so much with her baseless litigation of her 2022 loss that she could not get elected in 2024 even on the down ticket dynamics. A stark validation of the numerous warnings issued by the likes of Red Leg, Tanks, etc.

Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.
