That’s just it though, isn’t it? When did we start referring to the opposition as the enemy and referring to their point of view as evil. While there are surely bad actors in both parties the beliefs, no matter how ill informed or misguided, are shared by roughly half the population.

Maybe someone believes that my wife should not be allowed to have a late term abortion to avoid sepsis from a dead baby in her womb. I’m sure that this person has a very good reason to believe that they have some business in my wife’s lady business. Trumps rally in Madison square garden has been labeled a NAZI rally by Hillary Clinton and others. More than one leftist Democrat political commentator has announced that Trump and his supporters have every intention of rounding up millions of Americans and placing them in camps, etc.

The demonization of conservatives by the political left is off the hook.

I notice the goalpost has moved from “already dead baby that can’t be removed” to “baby that will 100% die after birth.”

Drama much? The abortion laws across the several states are very much like they are in Europe. If you consider the various laws across Europe draconian, where abortion is generally limited to somewhere before mid-term, I can't help you there. The destruction of raptor eggs is illegal in the US. The destruction of human offspring (for which the Latin word is "fetus") isn't in most states.

Yes, I consider the idea of wealth redistribution evil. When a man works, and another man enjoys the fruits of that labor, it's slavery. We outlawed that in 1865.
