I don’t follow you on this one, she received 0 votes in a primary and was anointed the nomination by the democrat machine. She hides from tough interviews and can’t string a coherent sentence together. She hasn’t earned crap in my book.

Trump was about my fifth choice but I will reluctantly vote for him. If she is elected she will be my president no matter how much of a failure she will be. That makes me nauseous just thinking about what that would mean for our country.

I think he meant C*nt, not madam president.

If you guys have the chance, please take @mdwest up on his offer to help these folks. We’ve got members of our community in there as first responders. Thank God for private citizens stepping in to help. The government has failed these people.

For those unaware, there are a lot of former SF guys that live in North Carolina… Ft. Bragg is the home of Army SF and a lot of guys either retire or leave the service from Ft. Bragg, or just return there because they’ve spent a good bit of time there during their careers and just like the surrounding area..

There are a couple of different groups of former/retired SF bubbas roaming the really hard hit places, doing what SF dudes do… setting up medical stations, building/rebuilding things, conducting search operations, conducting rescues, providing security, etc etc etc.. these guys are all volunteers that just jumped in their trucks, threw chainsaws and logging chains in the back, pinged their networks of friends, and have banded together to go help people…

Some of the groups are more organized than others.. some are working through a couple of non profits… some are just working on their own and footing the bill(s) for fuel, gear, expendables, etc themselves..

If anyone here is looking to help, I’m checking in with one of the “private” groups regularly… (not affiliated with a non profit… they’re just out helping)… there’s about 20 of them total… sleeping in the back of their trucks and just going town to town… mostly deep in Appalachia.. little hill communities in the middle of nowhere… there’s an old Warrant Officer with the group that I’ve known for probably 20 years that I trust… I’m happy to put you in direct contact with him.. they’re happy to get any additional manpower, equipment, or funding they can get their hands on…

Theyre mostly communicating by Starlink.. where they’re at cell service was spotty before the hurricane… it’s still practically non existent now…

Some of the pics they’ve shared are truly apocalyptic… it’s unreal what they’re dealing with… most of these guys have spent a lot of time in a lot of very nasty places… dealing with a lot of very nasty things… and they’re saying what they’re seeing in parts of NC and VA is worse…

A link for a fundraiser we are doing with Samaritans purse is below…

We’re matching funds $ for $ for the first $10k raised (getting close to goal now)…

This was originally something we did internally and was intended to be a vehicle for donations from our employees… but we decided we’ll match anyone’s funds up to the first $10k… SP is a great organization and all reports are they are doing incredibly good work right now

Didn't realize you lived in Mandeville. My sister and b-i-l have lived in Beau Chene for close to 30 years.
I lived in Mandeville twice. First time in the early 90s for about 5 years. Went overseas for 3-1/2 years and then came back and spent about 10 years. Three of my kids graduated from high school there.

Sent, and thank you for your generosity in matching the donated amounts @mdwest

The “Merchant of Death” Victor Booth is back in business selling arms to the Youthi Rebels in Yemen. Great trade Joe and Kamala, at least we got our basketball player back! Way to go Joe!

It’s just a foretaste of the “joy” we can expect under a Harris administration.

It would appear Trump is getting his wish. To remind, his rejection of Haley supporters back in January. Moreover, he has ignored her with respect to campaigning for him even after her endorsement.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that anyone who made a contribution to the Haley campaign "from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp." "We don't want them, and will not accept them,"

It really doesn't matter what Trump or his supporters may think of nearly 10% of republicans voting for Haley - what they have studiously ignored is that it could matter a very great deal indeed what that 10% thinks. Like in so many areas, Trump's personal grievances are far more important to him than even winning the election.

Some may find this interesting. NGO's using off duty San Antonio police to help facilitate the trafficking of illegals into America.

Makes a person wonder if the numbers crossing the southern border are down because we are now just flying them into the country.

I don't know Joe? Chaney has probably got more negative personality traits than Trump. And if you wanted to see vindictive behavior to one's own political demise, look no farther than Liz Chaney. How many Republican voters care what the Chaney's do or say?

Trump having RFK Jr and Tulsi Gabbard on his side so solidly seems to have done much more good than losing Cheney.

And I would actually contend that winning me and several others on this site over might be much more indicative of what the actual voting masses are going to do. We are going to step up and be realistic about what our choices are. And we are going to vote for overal basic policy rather than personalities.

We are not going to stoop to being so trivial as to vote against our beliefs because of individual personality differences.

And we are going to look at the very obvious records of performance when we vote.

I won't really argue with what you're saying here Bob, but it still made no sense for Trump to have said what he did. How much will it hurt him? Maybe a bunch, maybe not, but perhaps just enough to make the difference between losing and winning.

Please do not fall for the media “undecided” voter bs.
Undecided or independent just means they don’t want to tell a pollster or anyone else who they are voting for.

There may be 1/10th of one percent actually have not decided between Trump and Harris. They are not close on policies or beliefs.

Anyone in the middle of those two vast differences is not being honest.

Agree, the difference between Trump and Harris is so far apart that how could anyone still be deciding on one of these two. I could see deciding if they would vote at all for President or not vote except for down ballot.

I would think to agree with @Altitude sickness here. I cannot imagine there still being someone out there undecided between Trump and Harris.

Motivated or not to go out to vote, is what will really matter.

The people that are tracking and paying attention are firmly entrenched in their respective camp.

The people not paying attention have already decided based on past voting record, advertisements or cultural reasons.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
