Well, when you repeat the Mantra “threat to democracy” thousands of times. to ensure the public understands why they can not allow him to take office by any means necessary.

So they have convinced themselves and people in power in certain government agencies, that he must be stopped to save democracy. They are hero’s for saving us. Remember Peter Strzok and his girlfriend Lisa Page in the FBI. McCabe?
(Plan B)

Well now “Patriots” like them have permission. to save democracy.

the age old adage. ( Whatever the democrats are accusing the opposition of; Is exactly what they are engaged in. ) Still holds true

Immigration is a HUGE issue for most in the UK

These riots are mostly criminal elements taking advantage of the situation

However resentment in the UK towards immigration policy is palpable

The riots will diminish

The underlying concerns will not

I wish I could convince myself that Trump had the mental maturity to be president. There are jobs where one no longer has the luxury to like or dislike anyone. With respect to the presidency, all that matters is the welfare of the American people and their allies. But Trump is incapable of that sort of behaviour - even common sense.

Now that the race has tightened, Trump has no realistic path to the presidency without Georgia. On the Truth platform and during his rally in Atlanta on Saturday, Trump decided that the best thing he could do to further his candidacy in the state was to attack its highly successful republican governor, Brian Kemp - a governor with a job approval rating of 63 percent! Moreover, Kemp is particularly liked among the educated urban voters that Trump desperately needs to keep from turning to Harris.

But no. Because Kemp would not lie for him or disrupt Georgia's electoral process during the 2020 election, Trump decided it was more important to attack Kemp, and by extension his republican supporters, than to focus on unity of the party against Harris.

Some of his comments included, Kemp is “a bad guy, he’s a disloyal guy and he’s a very average governor.” He added that on Kemp’s watch, Georgia has “gone to hell.”

If this sort of idiotic, juvenile, politically self-destructive behaviour continues (assuming it isn't already too late). Trump will have no one to blame for his defeat but himself.

Actually, he will blame everyone but himself, including accusations of the election being stolen again. After the shooting I really thought he had a shot at winning. Now, all one can hope is that people vote for GOP candidates down ballot. Unfortunately, I think he will kill votes down ballot as well.

All too true.

I haven't seen the Georgia speech but I can believe Trump said things he shouldn't have.

However I did watch the Black Journalist interview. My take was a lot different than the two of you made it out to be. I thought Trump was holding them responsible for how they treated him and o gave him a win on that whole thing overall.

I do think most reasoning people understand that we the People are being presented with stark differences in Policy. Barring some major surprise at the Democrat Convention, we have a clear choice between a Socialist agenda and continuation of the current policies... And a Conservative agenda bringing this Country back towards the place it was just prior to the pandemic.

All the bickering back and forth about hurt feelings and she might change or he should have not said this or that does not matter. We have a clear choice between two completely different policy directions.

As I mentioned before, the best thing to ever happen to him as a candidate was the gag order. I'll add the second best thing was the mute button at his debate with Biden.

In 20 years nobody will remember Brian Kemp’s name. They WILL remember the financial scar they’re about to bear. I’ll take mean tweets over this:

Global stock market rout gathers pace as fears of US recession grow

Trump attacking Kemp was a huge error. Obviously he does not listen to, or trust any advise given to him.

I think once Harris is forced to speak off of a teleprompter or memorized talking points she will be exposed for the vapid, hollow shell she is.
And the polls will then move to a toss up until October .

If she is smart she will do as Biden did. Hide and avoid interviews and answering policy or off the cuff, non rehearsed questions.

She has the White guilt, look at me I’m not a racist, suburban white woman vote locked up.

Those people are more concerned with virtue signaling and show how enlightened they are. They don’t know or care who the Houthi’s, Hamas, Hezbollah, Wagner group, Putin, Xi Jinping are.

Policies that don’t include race or gender do not interest them.

Trump will never get those kind of voters. But he does now have the majority of union workers. Not union leaders. But the union employee.

Unfortunately the white women voters outnumber the union members

15 days since Harris was announced as the nominee, and has not been behind a microphone making any type of statement to the public.
The average Democrat voter is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and the Harris campaign will keep her tucked away from the spotlight.
Cockroaches don't like having a light shined on them.

If this is the answer to a world on fire and a generational financial crisis, I’ll take my chances with mean tweets.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If she gets elected we all will be burdened by the past and future.

Remember, that if they use the APP then walk across or are flown in by the government. Those numbers do not go towards that count.

I don't believe I commented on the interview at the black journalist symposium. From what I saw, the audience reaction to his remarks about Harris were actually mixed.

But with respect to Georgia, from a policy perspective, roughly 49% of the reasoning people in this country fundamentally disagree with you and me. Roughly 49% agree with us. That 2% who remain persuadable will decide this election in states other than Texas. Georgia is one of them and one of the most critical. Trump's stupidity won't turn educated republicans into Harris supporters. Rather, they will simply stay home, which can have huge consequences down ballot.

Trump's uncontrollable sense of grievance cost us the senate in Georgia in 2020, and has the absolute potential to cost us the senate and presidency this time around. It frustrates me this is the best we can do for a candidate.

The race boils down to a woman who has shown to be quite incapable of being POTUS versus a previous POTUS who has shown to be quite incapable of running a winning campaign. How will it end? I don't know.

But if we end up with Harris as President it will be because of Trump and his big mouth. It does not matter if you aren't offended by his comments on Harris and her race. It does not matter if you don't care about his latest attack on a popular (at leas in his state) Republican governor.

What matters at this point are those votes being cast by those in doubt of each candidate. Those include the votes of those Republicans who voted for someone other than Trump in the primaries. You know the ones he said he didn't need nor wanted. It includes the votes of those who aren't hard committed to the Dems or Republicans. It is especially those votes that put him into office in 2016. How he doesn't see this is attributable to his extreme narcissism.

A reasonably well run campaign by a Republican candidate should be mopping the floor with Harris and all of the turmoil that the DNC has been in with Biden. If Trump loses it will set a new precedent on how NOT to run a presidential campaign.
