But will you have power to do all that with 6-8 hours of load shedding everyday???
I'm guessing you're running a generator??

We are very fortunate that we only get two hours a day, and not every day.

But yes. I do run a 25 KVA generator as backup.

Put in politics one as well...just in case....

I could believe it
Should hear what Australians think of the USA president and vice president
Hint
Not good
No offence to the Americans intended

Meanwhile back in Gaza Hamas is laughing hard and long at their 'diplomatic victory'. One wonders what Biden's clever plan is to defeat them without defeating them.
I don't think the word "clever" and Biden have ever been used in the same sentence before until yours? LOL

This was a very interesting read:

On the Scott Key bridge strike.

I’m surprised the US Navy Mobile Diving and Salvage unit hasn’t been sent over. That is the small teams entire gig. Lightweight and highly portable. They can have their entire system anywhere in the planet in hours. It’s not a ship based deep diving unit.

But strictly trains for this type of task. Blowing bridges to block enemy sea passage and blowing bridges and ships to clear them out of the way.

Here is an article on training for Ukraine harbor clearance

I think that is part of the issue. The behavior of the democratic party after Oct 7th, I am not sure how any Jewish person could say they are a proud Democrat.
I am not picking on your post, but since I think I am the only left-leaning Jew on here, this was just a convenient place for me to jump into the conversation.

I do think you are speaking a little too broadly when you criticize Democrats. There are many Democrats in Congress who are and have remained staunch supporters of Israel. That is even true amongst those who are “progressive” like Senator John Fetterman.

The divide that does exist in the Democratic Party is more a generational divide. As a nation, we have clearly failed to properly raise and educate the next generation, abdicating that responsibility to TikTok. Unless we address this fast, it is clear to me that we will lose this nation.

I may be more left of center than most here, not as if that would be hard, but I have never been a supporter of the “progressive” wing of the Democratic Party, especially in its current form, which is really the socialist party hijacking the Democratic Party’s ballot line to get elected. Even still, the naked antisemitism coming from some of these people is beyond galling.

So while you may see or hear about some Jewish groups supporting this nonsense, the vast majority of us, especially those not on TikTok, are seeing all of the hate coming from the anti-Israel antisemitic members or the Democratic Party, and we will not forget it. I am not alone in voting against any candidate who supports Hamas, even if that means voting Republican.

Bryan Malinowski, executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, was fatally wounded in a shootout as ATF agents tried to serve a search warrant at his home.

Some of the oil guys can confirm but I saw some place that the US hasn’t built a new refinery since the 70’s. I know the political powers that be as of now won’t permit any but maybe with a new administration they can find a way through all of the regulatory and governmental BS and get some built.

Nah, that would make too much business sense. We'll have none of that!

1977 actually. The Cherry point and North Pole refineries were built to handle ANS crude in conjunction with the construction of the trans Alaska pipeline. We don’t really need more refineries, we just need the regulatory environment to support the continued expansion of the ones we have. Pipelines are another matter. We have some critical pipeline needs that just can’t get permitting.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
