Politics

Put in politics one as well...just in case....

I gave you a "like" and shutdown the video after about 30 seconds. I can't stand that woman's voice. Shameful that the actor in that movie spouted more truth than she ever will.

Democrats never let a tragedy go to waste.
Taxpayers shouldn't be on the hook for rebuilding it.
No need to make this a political issue.
Federal government building the bridge asap is actually net positive for the taxpayers for a variety of reasons.
Insurers of the ship's company will pay for everything eventually but we need this to be done with urgency and nobody but federal government has the capacity to do that.

Federal government closing the southern border in urgency would be a much bigger net positive for the taxpayer, but that isn't happening.
Political grandstanding is what Democrats excel at.

The Key bridge originally took 5 years to build. That was in the 70's. There are much better methods & technology today, but it will still take a lot of time to remove & rebuild.

The main thing I would have thought is to get the waterway opened ASAP to let shipping through......

Remove by federal government should be the priority to open the waterway to ship traffic.

Meanwhile back in Gaza Hamas is laughing hard and long at their 'diplomatic victory'. One wonders what Biden's clever plan is to defeat them without defeating them.
I don't see the cease fire a diplomatic victory for Hamas but rather a lost for Netanyahu who will be ousted soon.
That's why he's trying everything to prevent it.
Israeli citizens are fed up with him and his support remains less than %30.

He's going to run up a wall, do a double back flip, come down on both sides of them simultaneously, thereby surrounding and confusing them, and bury them in cash.

Hence, why the Federal government is in the best position to build it. By the time investigations are done and the blame gets litigated in courts it might be years. Do you want them to wait that long before starting the process of the rebuild? Also, a Federal bid process takes time even when fast tracked.

I am sure by the time the bridge is rebuilt the responsible parties are determined.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
