Kamala Harris on Wednesday said if elected president she will press Congress to pass a red flag law that would allow law enforcement officials to temporarily seize the firearms of white nationalists that may be on the verge of carrying out a hate crime.

Red Flag laws will do nothing but trample upon citizens Constitutional rights, deny due process, and put law enforcement officers unnecessarily in harms way. That is not quite true, they will serve the leftist agenda quite nicely.

Since WWII, Denmark has relied on America for a significant part, if not the majority of it's defense of Greenland.

Denmark contributes 1.35% of GDP to NATO instead of the 2% they have agreed to.

It will be interesting how the polar oil fields become divvied up in the next few years. Does Denmark have the ability to defend it's interests, much less Greenland's. Why don't we watch what plays out in the next five years between Denmark/Greenland/America regarding Denmark's defense of the island and their participation in NATO. What Trump said out loud makes great cartoons. Reading the inferences is much more interesting.

China has to be starting to sweat.

Overall prices have yet to increase in the U.S, they are bleeding billions, supply chains are rapidly moving out of China, their food sources have challenges (pork ebola etc...), they are subsidizing their own "prosperity," and yet because of their culture they will not give in even though they are in the losing position.

They aren't used to an American President who won't back down to avoid confrontation. China may likely fight this to it's own economic death. Time will tell.

Wall Street may not like this, but Main Street should.

I like how Trump is easing into this and squeezing China a little harder everytime they breathe out, just like a python. It has the added advantage of letting the average American citizen see that the trade war has had little if any impact on their lives, regardless of what the media says.

Supply chains are quickly moving out of China and I don't think that an order will be necessary in the end as the economics and instability are already forcing the issue. It is however; nice to know that arrow is in the quiver.

I hope local supply will react and step into the void - I prefer to buy a local (national) product whenever possible. I also believe the government in China is very patient, and is just hoping that a new election will bring a new style of negotiation. Having said all of that, I must say I support Trump's style and the need to be less reliant on foreign products.
