This article dates back to 2011 . . . and says that Epstein had already served a jail sentence for improper behaviour with underage girls. The Duke of York seems to have been doing more or less OK since then . . . although I note the comment made about him that "there appears to be no discernible mental activity" . . . something that tends not to improve with age!

The real question is what took the US authorities so long to do something about an issue that seems to have been pretty common knowledge among a particular coterie . . .

When I click on the article, in the upper right it shows the date as Sunday 07 July 2019. I did look at that date prior to posting the link. After reading on, you are correct! It looks like the Telegraph is regurgitating an article from 2011. My bad as to the time stamp on the article, and the information about the Duke's future role.

To answer your second question, there may be multiple answers.

1. Bush and Obama were Presidents when this happened, up until 2017. Laws now seem to be more equally enforced as of a couple of years ago. Also see NXVIM.

2. From other information that has surfaced over the years, it seems as though Epstein has probably worked as an informant for the FBI. This may help explain how he got off so leniently in his prior conviction. It looks like he probably/possibly flipped on some financial fraud/money laundering cases.

3. If Epstein has cameras videoing in his NYC mansion, Palm Beach Mansion, Little St. James Island, and Boeing 727, then a number of people that are rich and famous probably have the ability to be blackmailed by Epstein, thus getting charges reduced to a slap on the hand, in the earlier case.


As Royal mentioned yesterday. It looks as though Pelosi's daughter thinks some of the "faves" may take a fall.

With Barr as AG, I doubt a plea deal would be very friendly to Epstein. Unless, there are video's of Bill Clinton's 26 trips on the Lolita Express (Epstein's 727), or time Clinton spent with Epstein after ditching his secret service detachment. Evidently plenty of other people fall into this category. Clinton is just the most famous.

As far as I am concerned, anyone who sexually molests a child should spend the rest of his life in prison as their minimum sentence. To bad a federal conviction in SDNY can't put Epstein in Rikers'. Wonder what the over and under on being broomed in Rikers' would be?

From many things being written, by the time Epstein, Nxvim and a couple other pedophilia/child sex trafficking cases run their gamut, there is a good chance that indictments will reach reasonably deep into the political establishment, along with the entertainment and media industries. This may be one of the reasons there has been so much push back against Trump from those industries.
