Unfortunately . . . we're paying them pretty good salaries and great benefits for jobs where you never have to actually perform.

No, to realize that paying off the national debt by merely print up a $22,000,000,000,000 bill and paying off the debt with it would have unintended consequences is a few steps past her cognitive level. Just as cancelling all of the debt owed by former college students doesn't actually take the money away from anyone. I guess the lenders don't figure into the calculation. Sad that a great educational system has degenerated to the point where the people with such little ability to think are actually graduates of that system.

No, paying the National debt was just an example of their mentality. It would have been equally accurate to say: print up a $1 Trillion bill to pay off the student loan debt or a $fill in the blank bill to pay for full medical coverage for everyone, or while the printing press is running, print up enough so that everyone can buy a Rolls Royce and a jet airplane.
