Yep. And the reason the unemployment rate has declined, is because a large number of people quit looking for work and are no longer counted in the unemployed stats. Many of them are living on the current free “stimulus “ programs and are banking on the next round of free imaginary money. China Joe hasn’t done a damn thing to create NEW jobs now OR in his previous 45 years in Congress. His policies have exacerbated the ability for businesses to find workers and there’s no end in sight.

I wouldn't be too excited about it. There are too many variables in that tiny pool to draw any conclusions. We won't know who it prefers or affects more until it's more wide spread.

That said, it's doing what viruses do, mutating, nobody should be surprised if it gets around anything. Do we even have a way of accurately detecting who has it? If everyone who comes into the country is tested, how did it get in? Are our current tests picking it up accurately or is it staying undetected for a different period of time?

What a mess. I'm vaccinated but wouldn't be surprised to get a variant and the new one seems pretty doable.

Not everyone coming into the country is being tested. A considerable number of untested people visited Del Rio and other border areas lately and were dispersed into the interior. The "return to normalcy" is a real cluster.
