a problem those outside the USA have is that the news sources tend to bias their reporting in favor of the leftist agenda. As such they magnify differences between a few Republican politicians and the majority of Republicans. The media also under report differences between the several factions in the democrat party. The democrats couldn't even win the recent election without significant misrepresentations and voter fraud. There were nearly 80,000,000 people that voted for President Trump. These same people continue to be insulted by the Democrats and the lap dog media's continued efforts to vilify the President and those that voted for him.
The Republican [party is not about to split- other than it may convince some of the RINOs to retire- their main goal is to prevent the (National Social) Democrat Party from gutting the country beyond repair between now and the 2022 election, at which time it is likely that Republicans will retake both Houses.
The Democrat party is showing it is unable to handle success. They have a president that really should be in assisted living. He is incapable of handling any issue without a staffer telling him what to say. He served his party in presenting an image of stability for the election but he has outlived his usefulness and likely will be cast aside in short order. then Kampala will take over after which her leftist orientation will likely reveal all of the cracks in the democrat party- with the various elements turning on each other.
So long term the future looks much brighter for the Republicans than for the DemonRats, provided that the demonRats can be prevented from driving the country off the cliff before the next election - and the Chinese are prevented from a complete takeover.
