What is going on with the Republican party over there? For the last day or two I have been hearing of a possible split in the party and a New Republican Party being formed / considered. If this actually goes ahead then you're going to have a split of the Rep vote roughly down the middle. That leaves the Dems at around 50% and the other two at 25%. The Dems will now likely rule for a very very long time!

I just can't understand the RINO mentality!

There does seem to be some re-aligning and regeneration going on, but probably not a split. What is patently obvious is that the Republicans are the adults in the room at this point and have the upper hand in just about everything. De Santis, Haley, Cotton, Lindsay, Cruiz are talking solid sense in response to all the silliness that Biden is up to. By keeping all the old faces he looks 'same old', how stupid a decision was that! They all carry baggage too. In the House and Senate it is the Republicans that look young, invigorated and dynamic and the Dems with old Pelosi and Schumer are a tired old gramaphone screeching "imeach, impeach", like something out of Alice in Wonderland! It is quite funny how their terror of Trump is paralysing them, even after he is gone!

I've just read a news report that two US Congressmen have developed a bill which will ban the import of Kangaroo skins and meat into the US. The bill was developed by Salud Carbajal (Democrat, California) and Brian Fitzpatrick (Republican, Pennsylvania). I suppose this type of idiocy is to be expected from a Californian Democrat, but what's with Fitzpatrick. Is he really a Radical Green/Animal Rights nut masquerading as a Republican?

For those who don't know, kagaroos are nowhere near endangered. Even the ICUN lists them as being of "Least Concern". Of course science never mattered to the Animal Rights types.

a problem those outside the USA have is that the news sources tend to bias their reporting in favor of the leftist agenda. As such they magnify differences between a few Republican politicians and the majority of Republicans. The media also under report differences between the several factions in the democrat party. The democrats couldn't even win the recent election without significant misrepresentations and voter fraud. There were nearly 80,000,000 people that voted for President Trump. These same people continue to be insulted by the Democrats and the lap dog media's continued efforts to vilify the President and those that voted for him.

The Republican [party is not about to split- other than it may convince some of the RINOs to retire- their main goal is to prevent the (National Social) Democrat Party from gutting the country beyond repair between now and the 2022 election, at which time it is likely that Republicans will retake both Houses.

The Democrat party is showing it is unable to handle success. They have a president that really should be in assisted living. He is incapable of handling any issue without a staffer telling him what to say. He served his party in presenting an image of stability for the election but he has outlived his usefulness and likely will be cast aside in short order. then Kampala will take over after which her leftist orientation will likely reveal all of the cracks in the democrat party- with the various elements turning on each other.

So long term the future looks much brighter for the Republicans than for the DemonRats, provided that the demonRats can be prevented from driving the country off the cliff before the next election - and the Chinese are prevented from a complete takeover.

I sincerely hope you're right about this! From what was reported it was about 120 Republicans having meetings etc to discuss forming a new party and there were some significant names amongst them.

Let's hope it's just a storm in a tea cup.

Purely a negotiating tactic and political horse trading as usual.

A lot of those 120 are officials from the Regan/Bush administrations, some were part of the Lincoln Project (which is really going bad right now). In my opinion it is more like a 120 political people trying to stay relevant and figure out their next grift.

Maybe i'm splitting hairs, but I don't believe for an instant that Heels Up Harris is a socialist. She's after power. She'll sell socialism to the gullible, as all leaders of "socialism" have always done. Lenin called them "useful idiots."

I call her "five toes up, five toes down Harris".

Wish it was limited to NA but it’s a burden we all have to bear, globally.

What burden do you have for the riots in Washington and what mfg outrage could you personally hold. Were you outraged when the small business were burned and looted? If not, why not? I would love to learn how the other side thinks because personally I can not fathom the outrage or burden over one but not the other. Protesting violently is either bad or good. It does not depend on the cause you are protesting. But, if you believe it does matter, Then you sir are zealot. Be outraged or not but not selectively.

I think you and he are making the same point. My take was that he's as disgusted by the selective outrage as I am, as you are.

I use to think my brother was just mad at the world, but I started to look at things he was talking about. Like the UN’s Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 and I was shocked by what I have learned.
Unfortunately Canada’s dictator, Jihadist Justin, is a strong supporter of these ideas and a threat to our freedoms!

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
